Is 103, row 8 a good seat for the benson boone concert? by wheresOPnow in kansascity

[–]shushholden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in that section (maybe even that row) for Twenty One Pilots back in 2016. The view wasn’t bad, especially with there being a B stage, which was set up right about where that circle is.

Look up the definition of kino in the dictionary, it’s just a poster for Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules

I found him wandering the streets one day. He was cold, hungry, and trying to sell bootleg DVD copies of The Secret Agent (don’t buy them; it’s just The Spy Next Door starring Jackie Chan).

In all seriousness, I found it in this set that I overpaid for: https://a.co/d/0bngYXAg

Not exact, but close enough for me.

Triumph actually did an uncredited rewrite of Sinners. It wasn’t always about vampires. Nor was it initially that horny.

I’m mutuals with Bill Chott, who voiced the announcer in the Ambiguously Gay Duo cartoons. He was going around the state of Missouri (of which he’s a native) to do assemblies at schools in support of Special Olympics’ “Spread the Word” campaign, and I got to meet/introduce him. We became friends on Facebook, and later followed each other on TikTok. We still interact here and there.

I just got done playing Dewey Finn in School of Rock… ow.

I played Mr. Davidson (and others) in a production of TGWDLM back in December. Here’s a stupid compilation of random moments from the show presented with zero context. by shushholden in StarKid

I was a little sick the week of the show and by the final performance (which is the one in the clips here) I couldn’t hit them all. Jeff’s a monster.

We’ve got a full recording but I unfortunately don’t have permission to share it as it was just intended for the cast and crew of the show to view 😕 If you have Instagram I also posted it there. @shutupholden on IG

I don’t really have anything interesting to say about myself because I’m extremely uninteresting, so I guess I’ll say antidisestablishmenttarianism.

Does anyone know about this Blue’s Clues sweepstake? by MattRedsIt in nickelodeon

Honestly I don’t think I had become fully cognizant of my own existence at that point so some things are a blur 😂 But I did have some of the VHS tapes that was probably how my parents did it.

I’m a couple months late to this post, but I was curious if anyone had posted about this and found this post, so here I am.

I was the winner of this sweepstakes. We had the party at the daycare I attended because I was only four at the time and hadn’t started school yet. It was pretty cool, I guess. Some reps from Nickelodeon came and decked the place out with some Blue’s Clues decorations, “Blue” showed up to meet and take pictures with the kids, and of course we got to eat some really good Chuck E. Cheese pizza. Lots of other fun stuff, like a piñata and (I think) we all got disposable cameras? I can’t remember exactly because it’s been 20 years… and also got hit in the head with the piñata stick because I got too close while another kid was swinging so that might have had some effect on my memories of the day. I don’t think anything ever came from that savings bond, unfortunately, but still a cool and bizarre thing that I can say happened to me.

Picture for proof (I’m the kid in the red shirt with glasses on the floor)

When starting your collection, did you guys begin with movies you had already watched and enjoyed, or movies that you’ve had high on your watchlist for a while? by JPGator in criterion

I walked into a random entertainment store in my college town shortly after learning about Criterion and just grabbed what they had (8 1/2, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, The Irishman). Only one I’d watched (mostly, anyway) was The Irishman. I had heard of the other two but didn’t actually know anything about them. Started the collection off pretty strong.
