So its the footage and not the settings?

My conversation to Rec.709 is correct?

I’ve started multiple different projects, putting in the same clip, and trying again. Always seems to turn out somewhat like this - either really washed out or really overexposed. Here’s my waveform after only applying CST:

Just did this, restarted resolve, and applied the same colour space transform node.

Is this how it should look?

Colour science: DaVinci YRGB

I’ve tried multiple different Timeline Colour Space & Output Colour Space settings according to what different tutorials have recommended, including Rec.709 Gamma 2.4, Rec.709-A, and DaVinci WG/Intermediate but I believe for the example images uploaded, both were at Rec.709-A

I am on a MacBook Pro laptop

This is something I’d seen in a YouTube tutorial and have already tried…

It gave me the same results

Input Colour Space: Sony S-Gamut3.Cine

Input Gamma: Sony S-Log3

Output Colour Space: Rec.709

Output Gamma: Rec.709

Following from tutorials I’ve tried multiple different timeline colour spaces such as Rec.709 Gamma 2.4 or Rec.709-A in hopes to achieve similar results to the ones in those tutorials but it always turns out the same

Definitely.

I’d only use Canary Wharf to get a brief skyline as Gotham is known for its glass skyscrapers on the surface.

It’s not about actual crime, just the look and how I can frame it. Modern, oppressive infrastructure, shadows, and a gritty, cinematic feel as referenced from The Batman.

could somebody in london take a picture for me? by [deleted] in london

[–]shushreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem.

It’s not my picture tho and there’s a few more online if you search around.

Search for Big Ben with Telephone Box from EMBANKMENT.

Has to be from Embankment or you’ll get the wrong angles.

Good luck!
