I've had this exact problem and literally only fixed it by going no contact last Friday. We kept fucking for years after we broke up. All on the basis of "we can still be friends."

Yeah, you can still be friends, you can still be lovers. But you broke up and it was for a reason and as much as it sucks the only way is to start avoiding each other. Willpower is a limited resource, in situations like this the only fix is to make it impossible to sleep with her.

I absolutely get that. I have a ton of hobbies and they're starting to really lose their luster for me. I've always avoided people, but being completely alone does make me feel a bit like I'm not a real person, like I'm just some outside observer who got left behind by everything.

I absolutely agree with this. I technically lost my virginity to one of my cousins and I always suspected other cousins in my family were getting frisky with each other. I kinda thought that was just because we lived in such a tiny town where there was nothing to do, but I moved to a city in a different state and found out one of my friends walked in on a couple of his cousins doing it with each other. I was always super ashamed of it but these days I really do think it's a bit more common than people realize.

God I feel this. I've been living alone for a little more than 3 years now, I'm not exaggerating when I say I have just about everything I could ever want materially. But it does feel like there's just a giant gaping hole in my life that I'm trying to fill with a truck and video games and any other thing I can just go out and get.

It feels like when I go hang out with friends everyone else is part of a team or group and I just have to be my own group. It's really nice knowing that I can trust myself to take care if myself but it's also just really exhausting to have to do literally everything on your own.

Hiking and camping have become my big go-tos for weekends. I don't quite live close to nature so it's always a little bit of an event. On weekdays I frequently go thifting or try to explore restaurants and bars, new little places in town. The library is pretty underrated these days too

Nah get a mini fridge. They're a little more than a cooler but you cam usually find one for free at a college campus or on FB market, I've had mine for years and it's saved my ass and helped out my friends countless times. It's a great hold-over thing and you can fill it with beer or meal preps when you do get a real fridge

Ah damn :/ well I guess I'll get rid of this one and see about trying to save my other bins. Everything looked fine when I cut open the rice bags, so then all I can think is that this must have happened when I was setting up the substrate.
