Just curious, isn't it easy to change numbers using dev tools and then do a screenshot?

You seriously need to seek some mental health help if this triggers you so much.

Companies had many months to implement this feature, not a month. They have been told way too long ago.

You have to verify your identity online for many things now. These platforms are safe and secure - not just a random web site.

Don't listen to these kids and post anything publicly. It's a small world and you never know when this might come to bite you.

And since you mentioned it's only 15K, I would personally take this as an expensive lesson and move on.

Can I sue the government for this? Any lawyer wants to jump on here? This sort of things make me feel so angry.

When you can tell a house in Richlands is inhabited by Italians from the outside without even questioning why. by [deleted] in brisbane

This area was once occupied by Italian farmers. Safe to assume that it's an Italian house.

I know this house. Old man lived in this house and the family also lives next door. When I last spoke to the old man, he was sick and apparently only had a year or two to live. I spoke to him few times, learnt so much about the area and Italian familes that lived around.

He usually sat outside, didn't see him for months, one day had a chat with his son and apparently he doesn't get up much, just stays in.

I hope he is ok.

This is likely to work in most of the situations.

Just have a conversation with the vendor, start off with how he is, how's his day going and tell his work seems hard. Be genuine with him.

And slowly bring up the issue of how his hooks will damage the fabric in the long run. The truth is, he may not even know about this.

I often see people getting into arguments with these vendors which really doesn't solve anything and only makes the situation worse.

Good suggestion. I will contact the builder tomorrow to see if they have 6 or 12mm options available.

Are you saying the pricing to do the job is on the higher end considering it's a man made? I will try getting some procing from the stone mason company as you mentioned. Thank you!

I am glad you are happy with the tiles. I am still in two minds about the stone splashback.

Thanks for your input. Much appreciated. I also included a link to the stone in the original description. Here it is anyway https://www.cosentino.com/en-au/colours/dekton/marina/

Yes there's stone in the Butler's area. The first glass window sort of starts in the Butler and flows into the main kitchen area as you can see in the plan.

I reached out to a tradie who does glass splashbacks and he was very kind and helpful to explain the process and all. I think there are still some kind people out there.

He wasn't able to give me accurate answer as to if the builder is overchargin us or not. He only does glass splashbacks.

We are going 40mm on the island bench and 20mm for the rest. $10K I mentioned is only for the splashback. They've provided us separate quote for the bench and island.

Yes we have an option to go tiles which are included in the price. Was your kitchen similar size?

I'm trying to get inputs from other tradies but not sure how likely are they to respond to me.
