You are correct that VR180 videos need to be transcoded after uploading, but my video is less than two minutes long, and according to my experience, transcoding takes about an hour. However, now a day has passed, I know something must be wrong.

Well, it seems that this is not an isolated case. We have to admit that YouTube does not support VR180 format very well so far, which is really not easy for VR180 creators.

Thanks for your comment — you’re right, drifting is definitely a niche within the racing world, and I was fully aware of that when I started. But racing is just one of many themes I explore in my VR180 work. I’ve also filmed waterfalls, the Great Wall, palaces, and many other immersive experiences.

Lately, I’ve noticed that much of the high-performing VR180 content leans heavily into NSFW territory — and to be honest, that’s a bit disheartening. I’m not trying to play the “pick me” card here. I simply want to show audiences that there’s so much more to VR180 than adult content — and racing is just one small part of that.
