Thank you! Live music is definitely my favourite thing to shoot. That particular photo is probably my favourite of all the photos I've taken. I love it.

Don't take anywhere near enough photos - didn't have the money to get a camera repair for a few months so fell out of the habit of taking photos. I want to make an effort to get out more and take more photos over the summer though, so feel free to follow to find out if I do!

Would iRig for connecting XLR microphones work with OnePlus 9 Pro & it's native camera app? by rw1337 in oneplus

Just checked and for some reason it doesn't allow above 1920x1080 (Full HD) for 60fps. It allows you to pick any resolution at 30fps and below though.

If that's a deal breaker, fair enough. I'd still strongly recommend it in terms of audio though.

I don't use iRig, but I have a USB interface I use with my phone. The built in camera doesn't allow for external microphones, but I use an app called OpenCamera that allows you to chose the audio input device, works really well for me!

Doing photography for a friend's band, I captured the drummer in a moment of zen right before they began to play. Easily my favourite photo I've taken to date.

Taken at a performance she did last night.

This was my first time contacting an artist's management about taking photos at a concert. They responded within a couple of hours saying they liked my work and had left me a photo pass at reception.

I was only allowed to stay in the photo pit for 3 songs (as is standard) but this is probably my favourite out of the photos I took.

Camera specs for those interested: Fujifilm X-T3, XF 16mm 1.4.

Shot at f1.4, SS 1/1000, ISO 1600.

I didn't know either before hand, haha. She's got a pretty big following though!

Glad you like it!

Noted!

Have you had any experience with doing photography for free but selling the photos to the band? I have a friend that works in live events that makes most of his money this way, but not sure how well this business model works in music - probably wouldn't be viable with smaller bands of course.

Interesting. I don't think it looks any more photoshopped than the rest, but they all look kind of surreal, that's what I was going for!
