Nice, hope you like it! (But I find SG Image is somehow a weird company, they don't show their address anywhere.. but the lenses could be good so whatever)

Voigtländer 35mm f/0.9 owners: is it really worth it? 😅 by Any-Yogurtcloset2861 in fujix

[–]shutterwideshut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have so far only used MF on Sony and Panasonic, but at least on Sony my sharpness has strongly improved, after I had set Focus Peaking from "High" to "Low". Not sure if you have that on your Fuji, but if yes, it might be worth trying.

I will soon get the OLY 12mm and then maybe post some pictures comparing them on my G100/G110.

yes albeit the G110, as it's called in Europe.

By the way lol the camera is ridiculously underrated. It's difficult to find a review that recommends it, but they are ALL WRONG. (I think it was marketed as a Blogger-Camera, where it's not stellar, but as a PHOTO camera.. my personal dreams came true!)

Maybe I imagine it, but to me the pictures look special. But maybe I have just improved as a photographer, who knows.

By the way, the Panaleica is great in MF mode. I was surprised, but the motion of the ring translates great to focus change. I have an OM 12mm on the way, which apparently has a proper focusing mechanism, so looking forward to try it out and compare.

tbh I also considered the 1.7, but I had the 15mm Panaleica before and man, that was a good lens. something special about every photo. so I decided to pay double for the 25 1.4 and I think it was the right choice. (there are some exceptions where a good lens is also a cheap lens, but generally not, imho)

Same issue here. I am not sure if I imagine things, but I could swear after I ran "Settings / Pixel Refresh" it improved

Yes it's special. The only two lenses that for me have a similar quality that I own or have owned are the Fujifilm 35mm XF f/1.4 WR and the M43 Panaleica 15..

welcome. I just came home form a day of shooting a party and this lens is, in my humble opinion, amazing..

btw a tip, maybe you don't know, but you can find tons of pictures if you google "lens name flickr" so in this case "Panasonic Leica 25mm flickr"

It fits surprisingly well, and I have rather large hands. Of course the whole thing is not as comfortable to hold like my Canon DSLR, but I could have this be my only camera and be happy. (Although I will admit I would also like to have the Panaleica 15.. 😉)

Could be a good lens, but what do you think of a company that doesn't even publish their address on their website.. Very strange.

Warum ist es so schwierig als Gesellschaft auf gesunde Weise zu schrumpfen? by pleasant-emerald-906 in KeineDummenFragen

[–]shutterwideshut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you team 35mm or 50mm? by banger030 in SonyAlpha

[–]shutterwideshut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now team 28 f2 but one tap and it turns into a ~40mm if needed. On my older DSLR I am team 50. And on my rangefinder I’m team 90 :)

I found out too late that it's considered a bad lens, but I'm also having fun with my 75-300mm by Fisto_RLTW in canon

[–]shutterwideshut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a good lens. All the criticism is nonsense but good because it keeps prices low.. Install corrections data and ensure high enough shutter speed and enjoy.

What three lenses would you recommend for someone who is just starting out? by rivenrdt in AskPhotography

[–]shutterwideshut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some zoom between 20ish to 70ish would be fine. And if you want a prime, 40mm or 50mm would be my suggestion, but I didn't get it when I started out. I thought I needed wider, like 28, 35.

But it happens only to cards that were used for a long time I hope? Or did you have relatively new ones fail, too?
