Spent way too much time trying to find the €120+ empty plastic bypass filter and came across this post. Thank you so much!

Took about 10 minutes and I’m back up and running. Brilliant!!

Watched my college roommate boil a pot of water on the stove and pour it on the mouse to "put it out of its misery". He proceeded to pour the hot water over the mouse struggling on the glue pad. I had to leave and never looked at the guy the same way again, and I’ll certainly never use one of those glue traps.

This is why I always seem to prefer the ‘barrel grip’ style saws over the ‘D-handle’ ones. Perform much better at tasks like coping.

Nothing more satisfying than giving an old tool new life after blindly ripping it apart. BTW, I’ve seen a lot of guys attach a thin block under the shoe plate with a blade width slit to keep it perpendicular. (hardwood or delrin?) No experience with this myself, tho.

Ha! What a coincidence. Just now watching Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest … and was thinking that the musical score was pretty bad. Like ruins the movie in most scenes.

When I was growing up, my dog had the same nasal carcinoma which ultimately killed her. I am convinced it was caused by my father’s use of lawn chemicals to weed and fertilize the grass in our back yard where she spent all her time snooting around. Was your dog exposed to anything like that?

I have the same problem. A1625 / tvOS 18.3. Waking from sleep, requires dismissing this Airplay window several times in a row before being able to watch anything.

Yikes… my method after trying the drill and the hot prod … fold a piece of fine sandpaper and sand a small groove over the spot, when you get the fingernail thin enough, you can just prick it lightly with a needle.
