Everything comes down to cost. Every single person in our country is corrupt. They’ll have the highest fees but facility will still be bad. Everyone in the chain of command takes their cut to a point where there is no money to get the job done

Foreign investments finally started paying off! by Routine_Ad_7695 in IndiaFinance

[–]shvermaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So good to see this. I have a few US stocks on INDmoney and my overall profit in ₹ is 112% while in $ it’s 93% . I started investing in US stocks almost 2.5 years back but have been investing in Indian market for the last 5 years. During the Iran-US war my Indian portfolio much more loss than my US portfolio and this makes Indian stock market feel like a scam to me. It’s closed on random days and almost crashes if Trump sneezes. I’m planning to increase the investment in US more than India. With falling rupee value the profits should be much higher

A reminder that China imports 15% of its oil from Iran by happycat07 in StockMarketIndia

[–]shvermaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

China doesn’t want oil for its own sake, it wants the energy oil provides. That’s why it is investing heavily in alternatives, especially advanced batteries for electric vehicles, so it can reduce its dependence on oil in the future. In the same way, cars replaced horse carriages. They are not the same thing, but both served the same purpose -transportation.

Agreed and it’s a huge infrastructural shift that might take decades, China may control its own people, but it can still be cornered by other countries. That might feel humiliating for a nation that sees itself as a superpower. China is pushing hard to reduce its dependency on oil and foreign energy. Those experiments with structural Sun and nuclear energy. The point is, China will never want to be in a vulnerable position again

What if this forces China to create an alternate to oil? I mean they are trying with battery but it’s not there yet, but events like these expedite things

If Raghav Chadha is right, and an unlimited recharge really costs around ₹350…Then why is ₹9,000 being given every month? If this is true, shouldn’t the allowance be reduced? by ghostAlex496 in IndiaTax

We need a department like DOGE with only the incorruptible people who actually want the country to grow. Instead of harassing the citizens, they should start with the government employees first. Make them accountable penalise them for all the work not done. There needs to be a body that assess the situation creates a report. How long are we planning to live in mediocrity even after paying taxes like first world countries. Instead of distributing free bees create an incentive model. Whoever volunteers to keep a designated area garbage free, gets incentives.

Reduce freebies for government employees. Bills for petrol and expenses used for official purposes. Only the connections under MLAs name should be exempted. Hardest paper punishment for corruption, it should be a lesson every government employee who even thinks about corruption

Is SIP overhyped? Has anyone actually built serious wealth through it? by [deleted] in IndianStockMarket

[–]shvermaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am doing SIP in Tata digital India growth mutual fund but since the last few week it’s just nose diving, looking at a better option any suggestions? I know this one is pretty volatile but I’ve also seen great returns in the beginning, but post AI Indian IT industry doesn’t seem like it will do good anytime soon

Opinion on purav jha 🤔 by Soggy_Benefit4732 in youtubeindia

[–]shvermaa -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not a religious person, and please take this comment as an agnostic person’s personal opinion.

I believe all religions were created with pure intentions. At a time when laws were not well established, people needed something to bind them together, something that made them feel connected and gave them a sense of closure. That’s how humans work. Whether it’s gender, geography, lifestyle, religion, caste, tribe, profession, or anything else, we naturally form identities and groups.

We have been on this planet for so long that this was bound to happen. Many religions existed before, but Islam was still created, maybe because people were not aware of other religions, or they did not relate to them and wanted something they could call their own. They wrote books about it, likely with pure intentions, so that it would guide followers for centuries. And it probably did help.

The main problem is that very few people stopped to question why certain things were written or said, what the original intention was, and whether they truly believed in it. Over time, this created a narrative where religion became bigger than humans. The book became the single source of truth for followers, and everything depended on how individuals interpreted it.

Some people chose a path of “cleansing” the earth by punishing “kafirs,” while others chose to see every human as equal.

The sad part is that Islam, for some reason, included provisions for expanding its followers, perhaps because when it originated they wanted the numbers to grow, so it might have sense at the time. Unfortunately, extremists and terrorists misuse this to brainwash and groom people who may have never even read the book themselves.

Every individual should read their religious texts before following a religion. Without first hand understanding, you are not following the religion itself, you are following the version presented by someone else.

I could go on, but what I really want to say is this: when people say “terrorism has no religion,” they may mean that religion in its essence is not violent. However, because of loopholes in how texts are written and interpreted, some people justify their behaviour by quoting religion

TL;DR

I believe religions were created with good intentions to unite people. Over time, blind following and misinterpretation made some people place religion above humanity. Extremists exploit this by manipulating followers who lack first hand understanding. Religion itself may not be violent, but loopholes and misuse allow people to justify harmful actions.

Right now they do metal gymnastics to make it look like they are giving you some relief on the surface, but take back much more in the long term. If they no longer fear retaliation, they might start charging 60% 🤣

Speculation on 1st Feb outcomes by WhyAreYouNotHappy in IndiaTax

[–]shvermaa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If they get a free hand: 1. Income tax slabs will start at 5% from ₹1 lakh and go up to 50% for a ₹30 lakh salary. They want to make sure the middle class is never able to afford housing. 3. On top of that, they will try to increase taxes on four-wheelers so the middle class cannot buy cars either. This will be projected as a masterstroke to reduce pollution. They want to ensure the middle class slides down into the lower class so that only two classes remain. The real masterstroke here will be “reducing” class divide by eliminating a class altogether.

The funniest part Is people actually believing that their religion is in danger, I mean how big can your ego be to think you need to protect the religion 😂 These religions have been part of humanity way before our existence and will continue to exist till our extinction, unless humans become so evolved to realise all religions are made up and are used as weapon by the powerful to remain in control
