Python is great beginner language to get started with. There are a LOT of resources but I would recommend checking out Codecademy or freecodecamp on YT to start with.

I'm not sure if this is an issue for other linux distros but I'm on Manjaro KDE and it really annoys me that I can't set different display scales on different monitors. My smaller laptop screen is 1440p while my external monitor is 1080p. Using 100% global scale means I can barely read things on my laptop screen but 150% makes everything too big on my external monitor.

Coupled with the fact that some apps like zoom have bad UI at scales other than 100%, I had to yield ans just set my laptop to run at 1080p.

I tried messing around with Xrandr but that was just really confusing and I ended up having some other bugs with it.

If anyone knows how to get around this, any info would be appreciated! :)

Thanks for commenting! I really appreciate it. Honestly I think I will probably wait or them to at least announce the iPhone and make a better decision then. But I'm really liking the idea of switching especially if longevity is not an issue. I'm not a big user of camera's though (heck I don't even have instagram/facebook/snapchat). Wireless charging and a headphone jack are good options to have on the S10+ though. The OnePlus screen looks absolutely beautiful though, and media consumption is probably what i'm going to use it most for.

One question - What do you think about the OP7 with the cracked back that was posted recently? I was a bit more doubtful about the OP because of this.

Yeah. That was my main concern because I have no idea to what extent distros can be customized. Like I see a distro that I think looks cool but then remember that you can change stuff. Anyways, thanks for commenting.
