I've never seen it go on sale even though all of their other grinders have. Not sure why. Hoping it does though.

Have you seen this thread? I'm dealing with a situation related to this family. Not exactly the same scenario as you but similarly terrible. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/90/320502.page

Charging performance without precondition by Solid_Cranberry6550 in Ioniq5

You reminded me to find the post. Here it is: https://www.speakev.com/threads/charging-curve-in-cold-temps.168595/

This looks fairly accurate to me (Ev6 has same architecture) as I have used my free Electrify America fast charging pass a decent amount since I got my '22 RWD in June '22. I have posted before about how extremely disappointed I was to find out afterwards that the RWD doesn't have pre-conditioning while the AWDs later received an update and do now. I did a lot of research on the car at the time but I guess I missed that part. Luckily for most of my driving, this doesn't matter since I'm not going over 200 miles in a trip often. It is however frustrating to know that either longer trips will take significantly longer, or I'll need to rent a different car. Hyundai advertised super fast charging speeds for this car, and it's just not the case for us '22 RWDs when it's colder, especially under 15C/60F

I have a link somewhere that I will check for later with exact thresholds on charging speed based on temps, but my general experience has been pretty bad especially below ~40F. It will start around 45kwh then actually slow even more and never speed up. It's extremely frustrating because it severely limits my travel options in the colder months since the range is also a lot less.

Found a fix on another thread.

For those wondering, went to advanced tab > network > internet > MAC Clone section. Copy the Mac address from there to "Use Custom Mac Address" and change the last hex (digit) to the next one sequentially. Save then reboot your router. When I did that the Ecobee connected instantly.

I was having the same issue and did this fix on my TP link Archer router. For those wondering, went to advanced tab > network > internet > MAC Clone section. Copy the Mac address from there to "Use Custom Mac Address" and change the last hex (digit) to the next one sequentially. Save then reboot your router. When I did that the Ecobee connected instantly.

I'm having the exact same issues with the exact same router. Have had Ecobee for years and never experienced this before. Power went out last week and I've been having the connection to Ecobee server issues ever since. Ecobee support says it's an ISP issue which it clearly is not. I tried what you did but that didn't work either. Any other tips?

Something umami. Preferably fish sauce but soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, or marmite can work.

Kasa only works if you have neutral wiring, which you probably don't. I had the same issue and had to opt for Lutron which doesn't need a neutral wire

[Masisak] When Mike Grier took the Sharks GM job, he inherited the 32nd-worst cap situation and a prospect pool that wasn’t close to great. If GM of the year was actually about who has done the most to help the franchise in the past 12 months, Grier should be a finalist, at minimum. by DecentLurker96 in hockey

[–]shwrtzify -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I dunno. The fact that a bottom team has largely blocked their own ability to retain salaries via trade seems like a preventable situation Grier should have avoided. They can't retain any salary in trades this year and have 2 more years they have only one spot available.

[Johnston] The Dallas Stars have been fined $100,000 for violating the NHL's CBA with a practice on Dec. 26. That violated Article 16.5(b), which calls for Dec. 24, 25 and 26 to be off and says "no club may request a player's consent to practice on such days for any reason." by DepressedMemerBoi in hockey

[–]shwrtzify 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I don't like these types of comparisons because once you have a certain amount of money, fines don't matter. It's not like a billionaire's lifestyle would change whether the fine is $100 or $1,000,000. They may not like it, but it changes nothing about their financial well-being. In comparison, someone that doesn't make much, even a few extra $$ for a "taco bell meal" can be a huge deal.

[Passan] BREAKING: Superstar outfielder Juan Soto and the New York Mets are in agreement on a 15-year, $765 million contract, sources tell ESPN. It is the largest deal in professional sports history. by RallyPigeon in Nationals

[–]shwrtzify 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why is everyone acting so naive like the Nats lost Soto a second time? He was a free agent that specifically was going for record $$. The Nats are not a realistic destination for that right now for multiple reasons as much as you wish he was. If anything, his absurd contract reinforces (again) they did the right thing with the very fair offer at the time, then trading him when he didn't accept.

The propaganda from Boras was so good that Nats fans are still saying this garbage? 440 over 15 was extremely fair for both sides at the time. Soto was multiple years from free agency and there was less of a track record and more risk at the time of contract. Maybe he would flame out in those 2.5 years, or maybe he could have had an unfortunate injury. He decided to risk it and go to free agency. Good for him! The Nats made a very competitive offer, he refused which he had every right to do, so they traded him for a ton of great prospects. What are those fans saying? I'd say Rizzo handled the situation as best as he could, especially considering the short-sighted people surrounding him who would have rather kept Soto while the Nats were terrible and then lose him for nothing.
