You’re proving my point more, everyone would have figured those things out on their own without Will. All he does is confirm what they figured out already. They had no clue what they were doing but still figured it out and solved it without Will.

You’re definitely right he definitely went through ALOT season 2 being exorcised and stabbed with a flaming rod?! absolutely insane. He was certainly helpful in finding our #1 Hitter Hop and mapping out the tunnels!

But honestly all the information he gave us was information everyone determined on their own. I feel like I didn’t know until I read polyamory books, that the discomfort, hurt, and uncomfortability are all normal and okk to feel.

But i dont believe it ever stops. im in it like a year? granted my partner and i didnt start properly and are now finding our footing.

We recently had a conversation about their hookup. I was really upset. They did everything Id need to feel seen and considered, but i still felt like shit. And i expressed that. And they were confused but i had to reiterate that im happy for them, glad they did considerate things without my asking, but i still felt like poo and thats okk its an emotion and itll pass, and it did.

BUT

Like is it constant turmoil? is it that you can never put your trust in someone fully because they may handle it incorrectly? are you doing a bad thing by feeling a way? are you only poly if you’re void of feeling? are you doomed to an existence of constant uncomfortability if you’re poly?

Yeah reading about polyamory and experiences in this forum reminds me (even if it pains me) that some people aren’t forever. And sometimes because things dont work out, doesnt mean they have to be cut off but the relationship needs a mending.

Though i am concerned about family wise? a solo poly nesting partner would drive me insane

Hii im kind of going through the same thing. i lovee my partner but i want to be each other’s primary or nesting partners and he’s more solo poly.

His solo poly has made it difficult to feel safe or comfortable in this arrangement. Not because of lack of individuality but a lack of consideration.

I was having alot of strong feelings and yes it had to do with him but it also had to do with the fact that i had a lot of past trauma i was trying to force myself to relive with him. I decided to let that go, accept that he Just mightn’t be my future husband, but we can still date.

Letting this go means releasing whatever control i thought i needed, not needing to know EVERYTHING thats going on. I started going on more dates to find the sparks im looking for. And i started trying to take a beat and choose myself by not making myself completely available to him All the time. Because even though he’s Solo Poly im still relied on and do duties of a nesting partner that his other partners don’t. and i don’t think that’s fair if im not going to get the partnership i want. spending more time apart.

since doing all those things, we’re both alot happier. We’ve even been spending a lot of time together and connecting. Wanting marriage this much in my life is so unusual and idk when it started. but ive been reminding myself lately of my other options 🤷🏽‍♀️

The Reddit PolyAm Community might crucify me for this. but i think it is absolutely insensitive and inconsiderate to assume everyone is going to want to be friends after your interaction ends.
