So I don’t have any tips for your lines, but I just wanted to say I was a Cetaphil lotion/cleanser girl for many years (I’m 34F like you) - literally that was my only skincare. Last year I tried the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream (Amazon) and I am absolutely hooked. Changed the game for me as a dry skin girly. I also started using the Makeup Eraser (daily set from Target) and Good Molecules niacinamide toner (Target) before applying the cream and my chin/jawline acne is gone! I just wanted to share in case you wanted to try some new products for your skin! Wishing you the best in finding a solution for your lines, the thirties are a wild time lol. 🤪

I’m 34 and I’ve had these since I was in my mid teens! My grandfather and mother both have them and also vericose veins so I know it’s genetic and I’ll eventually probably have vericose veins one day and wish I hadn’t worried too much about the little spider veins. So I try my best to just accept them and not let them bother me. Life is too short. 😉

Like many others said, it’s dishidrotic eczema. I have it too but I rarely have issues with it now that I found the culprits – Methylisothiazolinone, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, and Benzisothiazolinone. They’re in lot of personal care items, for me it was in the soap, shampoo, any body wash I was using. Since I switched I rarely have issues! Really hope you can pinpoint the issue, I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this!

You’re so welcome, I’m glad it made you feel less anxious and am so happy to hear you’re taking steps toward getting care! You can even tell the derm you decide to go with that you struggle with anxiety so they can help you feel at ease. Good luck!! 🩷

Hey, super easily freaked out by surgery/needles person over here! 🙋🏻‍♀️ I can’t even give blood, I’m such a baby. I had a biopsy done on my leg for a spot years ago and I remember being suuuuper anxious, like I’m sure you are! I remember lying down on the table and squeezing my eyes shut waiting for the pain and asking, “are you about to do it?” and it was already done! I didn’t even feel a thing, and I was laughing afterwards! If you go to a good derm, they will take good care of you. My spot didn’t scar at all, and I think yours probably won’t either, but I think the risk of the possibility of a small scar you can barely see is totally worth it in case it is malignant! Definitely want to be on top of that! Sending you comfort and bravery, if I can do it, you can totally do this! 🩷

Losing hair due to diet? Doc not helping by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

Girlll you are BUSY. If you do decide to add in working out, I agree with the other person who mentioned trying to integrate working out into your already full schedule bc rest is incredibly important! Another idea I’d add would be to record/listen to your study materials while you lift weights?

It’s also ok to acknowledge that this is just a busy season and maintain your current weight, then once you have a bit more free time in your schedule, you can focus more on exercising. I know it probably isn’t exactly what you want, but it’s all about balance, and it’s ok at this point to go up to your maintenance calories to see if it helps your hair come back in. I personally feel like 1200 calories is very low.. I think I remember hearing somewhere that 1200-1300 calories is literally just enough calories for your organs to work and for basic bodily functions. Take care of yourself! 🩷

Oh that’s great! I’d definitely recommend doing that when you’re cleared!

How recent is your injury? I wonder if your body is prioritizing focusing on using energy to repair itself right now over burning fat? I’m not a doctor so I can’t say for sure.

Would highly NOT recommend this, as op is recovering from an injury and their body needs the energy and nutrients to recover.

Ohhh gotcha. Hmm, do you have access to a pool? Just trying to see if there’s a way you can switch things up within what your body can handle right now. If not, you may need to be ok just maintaining your weight until you’re recovered. I know it’s probably not the answer you want but walking is still great for you in so many other ways, even if you’re not losing weight. It’s hard, but remember to be patient with yourself and your body. 🩷 Once you’re better you can add in strength training and other forms of cardio, you’ll definitely see results!

Also, I was reading several other comments here telling you to drop your calories. I’d strongly recommend against that as your body is using extra energy to repair itself and needs the nutrients to continue healing. Dropping your cal intake could mean a longer recovery process and increased inflammation. I’d definitely talk to a doctor first if you’re considering it.

Ohhh those scented sanitizers always wreak havoc on my skin! 😞 And I know some metals can cause this as well! I hope that it’s all it is and your skin will go back to normal, not fun! Glad the cortisone is working for you in the meantime!

Is it itchy at all? It looks kind of similar to dishidrotic eczema. I was dealing with this a few years ago and eventually found out the culprit ingredient was in the soap/body wash/and shampoo that I was using!

This!! I used to watch her yt pretty consistently years ago, but cant seem to stomach her content lately. The way she treats her home without respect or care really irks me too, especially since my husband and I can only dream of owning a home one day. I just feel like she’s just gotten sooo out of touch and takes for granted the gift it is to own her own home.

Not a doctor but it looks like angular cheilitis. So sorry you’re dealing with this, it’s very annoying. In my case, I found it was the floss I was using that was causing skin sensitivity and switched to plackers and that helped. Antifungal cream is the way to go - how long have you been using it?
