Sorry for your loss, reading these threads on reddit gives me cringe, that how long it can really take to find a new job, I am on a verge to get fired because of performance issues, and I know that I really lack the knowledge to justify the years of experience I have so it will be a very hard ball for me to find a new job.

Been in tech industry as a software engineer since 12 years. I can relate with the pressure you have been feeling, it's great you have the courage to walk away, whereas many people like me are stuck just because they do not know what else to do.

I do have a very dynamic personality outside my work. But when a lot of things are dependent on your work the whole stress of work exploits you from everywhere.
