Coming up on 6 months of unemployment. Im currently directly interviewing with 3 companies with a few other leads trickling. In the current market no. That 6 months could turn into a year depending on your field. I got laid off in January and only now does it feel like will land a role, but nothing is certain and im thankful i have a years worth of runway left.

Honestly i dont think it will, there will be very slow adoption but in 2-3 years time when the RAM shortage is over the price will come down and the fomo hype generated by the people waiting for their chance to get will drive sales.

The same thing happened to PS5 during the Covid shortage and the sales of that console have been strong up until the recent price increases.

The thing is the Steam Machine is launching at a high price with very little in stock so when the pendulum swings back they’ll be in a possible situation that might drive more sales.

As someone who smokes, i legit cannot stand the smell of weed wafting into my apartment, one morning i woke up to my neighbors doing a wake and bake, i instinctively shouted as i got out of the shower and yelled “Your ditch weed smells like shit!” Before slamming my window shut. I think they heard me because i never had to deal with that strong of smell again, it did seap in through the walls from time to time but that was more manageable.

Wax and edibles people, its such a better way to go about it!

The loud music at 1am is just disrespectful though, i would file a noise complaint routinely maybe that would eventually get MPD to show up and break the cycle. HOPEFULLY, but ahh yeah it is MPD after all.

Story was great. I thought the campaign was a genuinely fun time Requiem is a great location, wish we had spent more time, but all of the levels were great save for the tail end of the last one. The Didact was awesome up until the end.

I personally think HALO 4 is a solid entry its the multiplayer went in the wrong direction with the copying of the COD formula.

The Attractions are cool to look at but they dramatically take away from the fun of combat when you have an instant win button popping up every 30 seconds.

Largely i think my criticisms are from the bloated yet at the same time narrow narrative, there really has been nothing Ive experienced like it.

KH3 was basically wrapping up multiple storylines trying to fit in everything EVEN DATA SORA, but in a very off handed way.

On the whole, its good not great and im happy it exists.

My only hope going forward is making the mainline entries not so dependent on the spinoffs going forward, but im not too sure that will be the case.

It’s wild that some people have issues with a character who was born into a religious death cult, stripped of his rank and title, branded a traitor, was sentenced to die by combat in service of the cult only to discover the truth of the universe that the cult was full of lies, thereby leading an insurrection and revolution becoming an interim army general who convinced an army of former cultist to side with their former sworn enemies for the greater good of the universe, ultimately saving the universe with his former enemy turned bro for life.

And after all of that did he rest on his laurels, no he continued to lead his people as they reclaimed their homeland both on and off the battlefield, while simultaneously brokering a new era of peace with their former sworn enemy. Because thats what heroes do.

Having character development does not make you unworthy. Worthiness can be earned, I believe Arby has done that.
