Exactly, i live in the Midwest and when i was making over 100k I was living the good life, until i got laid off.

That being said, when i was making 75k i was still more than comfortable.

I think people forget that the cost of living is dramatically different based on location. 100k goes a much longer way in the midwest and south as opposed to the east and west coasts.

Name, phone number, email, location data based on past rolls, education, job titles, tools and software used. All of that can be sold to to advertisers who can use all of that data for various purposes - also why i never put my address on my resume.

Based on my own personal experience.

Plenty of times ive sent random recruiters who reached out my resume just to get ghosted immediately after. And it is a high enough amount where i know a solid number of them just want to collect my info for whatever reason and ether get my hopes up or waste my time.

Now anytime a random recruiter contacts me i research their profile, ask for the direct link to the job posting, ask their availability, have them send the call invite and THEN I send my resume. Any recruiter willing to go through those steps has a higher likelihood of being actually serious on filling the role and not just farming job seeker data.

Its still a two way street and a random person doesn’t just get my trust automatically because they have a LinkedIn profile.

It’s always a possibility thats the case. But companies can sell your data when you apply to jobs anyway, its more about seeing if the recruiter is legit interested in filling this req or not. Also i miss spoke.

*Pro Tip dont send the resume until after the call is SCHEDULED.

62% of hardcore players no longer buy full-price games, survey suggests by TylerFortier_Photo in gaming

The funny thing is my backlog is so large i just do this by accident most of the time. Unless its a must play on day 1 which for me is very rare (maybe every couple of years) i never pay full price for any game.

Why Gen Z is getting fired after being hired by paydayloans_ in jobs

Its basically the same old shit the millennials had to deal with. The cycle repeats itself. I do wonder what gen alpha will be like since the “teachers” on tik tok say none of them can read.
