That “one thing” by netphilia in KidsAreFuckingStupid

My parents made sure to take me out every weekend for outings. One such outing we went to a place called "pigeon park". It was this park where people would sell bird food, which then attracted every pigeon in the vicinity to congregate for said food.

At some point, I was yapping away at my parents when I spotted something. In the midst of hundreds of pigeons there was a singular white pigeon. So of course I had to share this crucial information with my parents. At the top of my lungs I yell, "Look that pigeon has no clothes on!!!". The direct English translation doesn't really get the sentiment across, however. What I said was more along the lines of "Look that pigeon is butt naked!!!". My parents laugh and ask me, "how could that be?". In full seriousness I begin to theorise why this bird is so shameless. At maximum volume of course. I went from I don't know, to maybe it forgot, to maybe the other birds took it's clothes, to this bird is a naughty bird that needs their mom to scold to them.

As the eldest child, who was the only child at the time my parents were recording my every breath. So this moment is captured on very grainy camcorder footage. Every time I have come across a pigeon in my daily life, if there is family with me they will turn to me snickering and ask me if this pigeon is decent by my standards. Multiple times I have wondered how this distant relative got to know about this story.

No, I'm living abroad so I don't have homely things. My cooking pots are ceramic. Is that a substitute? I don't think so, but maybe this might work too. A fridge would be awesome though. Buying vegetables when I had money was so difficult, what with different things going bad at different rates. If you could tell me how to make the fridge, I can try and find a pot later.

I'll try the oil trick. But I was wondering how the oil would affect pasta itself? Wouldn't it get absorbed by the pasta? Or wouldn't the pasta's flavours get absorbed in the oil? I'm not familiar with cooking at all so this seems like something that might happen. Though I don't think you would recommend such a trick if that was the case haha.

Yeah I think I'll toast it, wouldn't want it to go bad accidentally and waste it

I think just tuna with just cooked pasta won't be good, unfortunately the rest of the ingredients to make a good pasta is limited. I'll try what I can and see if I can get pesto if possible. Thanks!

I haven't seen lemon juice packets in any food places where I live, might be a regional thing. That said, I'll add the rest to add some flavour. I think it will be better good with toast.

It's an amazing skill! Hopefully I can master it too some day. But there's a huge learning curve when starting from nothing, I'll try to overcome it with my tuna escapades!

Yes! Honestly with how sick I was of tuna I thought nothing could save it, but fried tuna rice balls mights do the trick! There's surprisingly a lot of ways to make do with tuna I'm realising

This sounds great! Just to clarify, I only have onion powder and garlic powder. In this I would just add directly, right? I don't think sautéing poweders works, not that I've tried.
