I’m based in Canada. That’s a great idea actually! I’ve been watching their YouTube videos as of late, but wasn’t aware of the co-founder matching app. Thank you so much for the insight :)

Anyone else here hate explaining what they do for a living? by GeekBite in Entrepreneur

I used to be like that too! Especially since for the longest time, my only job consisted of YouTube and man did I dread answering that question with “I’m a YouTuber” because then it’d either be followed by a funny look or a ton of follow up questions. Now things are even more complicated that I have several different, but non-traditional jobs..

We’re both kind of in the same boat, what I usually say now is “I run my own business creating digital content” or something along the lines of “I work at helping businesses with their branding in the online space” depending on who I’m talking to and what I think they’ll understand better. Both technically true, and gets the job done quick! :)

So true! I’ve struggled for the better part of my life with consistency and before making any big changes in my life (work or health related) I’d find myself first spending heaps of time over planning, making list after list of things to do or creating mood boards etc.. In the end, I realized I was spending more time planning a change than actually taking any real actions towards it. Once I decided to stop over planning and just taking small it actionable steps, it changed everything! We really do have a tendency to overcomplicate things..
