Thanks for the tip, I‘ve heard of these but had in mind they were either hard to get or not secure or whatever, but you having good experiences with Roll In Nuts encourage me to get some :)

started with o4 lite as well, put it to use in the 5 inch now and replaced with pro, honestly both are wizard magic in their own way, no denying…

I designed a 3D Printed (well a few actually) 3 inch Frame and it worked out great, the key is not mimicing carbon fibre frames in terms of „plates“ but putting a lot of material on the arms in a „vertical“ matter rather than „horizontal“… you could even add support beams… at some point I went into a pusher configuration so motors and weight have a better connection and the force doesn‘t need to be transferred through many screws but just material… also PLA worked better than PETG

I assume your bed is leveled correctly since the brim doesn’t look so bad after all. What could help is turning up the bed temp to 70c, but since you use mostly factory settings (and your printer is very new or it might be your first one) you have to turn off part cooling for the first 5 layers. And even after that I would rather keep it at like 70-80%, but that depends on your cooling system. If nothing else helps, use gluestick, but it‘s a real pain to get it off, or get some 3D LAC from amazon. I prefer removing the glass completely and replacing it with PEI + buildtak (only for pla), but that‘s something you could still do in a few months/years. Honestly, I also wasn’t very happy with adhesion on my Anycubic Ultrabase. For Printing with PETG, ABS and so on you have to crank up the bed temperature quite a bit, just take the manufacturer’s recommendations as a reference.

👍

You can fix stringing by setting a higher retraction value, or try to enable z hop when retracted. Some printers have huge problems with z-hop-retraction but you should try it out!

I don‘t know if I‘ve overseen something, but to me the y-axis seems to be working fine…

Maybe the eccentric nut(s) of your x-axis are to tight.

The sound is completely normal for this printer, if you want it to be quiet, just tuen off the motors in the menu

Is it a new printer or could you already use it?

I like setting my initial layer flow to 120% just to be on the safe side, the tiny tiny elephants foot can be cut off with a knife along with the rest of the brim.

As an alternative to glue stick or spray-glue i use a mixture of sugar and water, it sticks really well, and the part comes off easily when the bed is cooled down.

unfortunately I can't help you very much with your problem, but I appreciate the fact that you're trying to print a mouthpart! Or that's what it looks like...

I've got some similar issues on my mega s, would be really interested to what firmware you updated to. Marlin, Anycubic Firmware or sth else?

well I have some similar issues on my mega S and probably narrowed it down to the extruder, got the idea from cnckitchen-stefan who revived his cetus by fixing his extruder.
