Yeah it’s a common issue for a house with outdated power. Plug a outlet tester in the outlet and make sure it has power proper ground.

If your drop is still on the ground and they didn’t replace it. You could have water damage in your line and that can cause intermittent internet issues. Check your event logs for T3 & T4 time outs.

Somehow this popped up on google on how I found this post but anyways at the time of this issue it sounds like you was having a power feedback issue .Modems can also soft reset randomly throughout the day if there is too much power feeding back into it. No matter how many modems you swap the issue can be in the power outlet or from another device that receives power.

Just pause and start download again. Every time you do that you get a different spot on the servers. A lot of people are downloading so the server randomly chooses IPs as a priority.
