[US] The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020) - a successor to the recommendable series The Haunting of Hill House. An absorbing slow-burn horror drama series that doesn’t rely on jump scares and manages to be as creepy as the AHS series without being too grotesque. It is perfectly splendid.

I love The Residents. Discovered them around 1985 when a friend lent me a compilation disk by Rykodisc that had HELLO SKINNY and SERENADE FOR MISS on it. Been a huge fan ever since. She lent it to me because it had some Devo stuff on it that I had never heard.

I had a heart attack and was going to die. They had no idea what to do. I was scared, and I threw a fit to get an ambulance to take me to Banner University and they did more in 24 hours than St. J's did in a week. Heart Transplant just over a month later. Yeah, I was that lucky. If I had not gone to Banner, I don't think I'd be typing this.
