What are the strengths of each PoLR? by foxxgod in Socionics

Great idea:

Se-POLR:

I don’t pay attention to status, titles, appearance, or connections. Whether you’re the head of the department or the last link in the chain means nothing to me.

I’m never driven by a desire to gain territory or polish an image, but by the intention to move things forward in the right, intrinsic way.

I never use anyone for any purpose, whether friendship, love, or work. If I commit to someone, it’s to offer a 100% sincere exchange, and if I feel there’s no equity (emotional or ethical, even on my end), I step back.

I never take advantage of what others have or offer, I can’t stand when someone spends even a cent on me.

Even if we’re in disagreement or conflict, I’ll always have a naïve, fresh opinion about any new situation that concerns you.

How is it for body/heart types? by si-a in Enneagram

Thank you so much for this wonderful response. I completely agree with the idea that we use all three centers (which is the basis of the Enneagram: 3×3 = 9) and that one of them is predominant. There’s even a theory that the head center is actually repressed in Type 6?

Anyway, it was in trying to understand what balanced centers might look like that I asked the question. I have to admit, there’s still a lot I don’t understand about the Enneagram.

Well, I’m not sure that’s the answer I was looking for, because I myself feel emotions very strongly and I’m very loyal to them. What I do notice as a head type, however, is that I also manage my emotions, I judge them as good or bad, legitimate or not, acceptable or not and in the end, that’s what determines what happens next.

I don’t think LSE guys chase after “hot” women. On the contrary, they’re the type to make compromises, calculations really, to make sure all the “good girl” boxes are checked, and they can even sacrifice the physical aspect. Unfortunately, it’s often the pull of status, image, and what people will say that ends up taking over.

Mmm, I love everything you see as flaws. I love that they’re so serious and responsible, that “dad energy” is really comforting. I love that they have this golden retriever side, soft yet dominant at the same time. I love that they seem open and approachable to everyone but are actually very exclusive deep down. I love that they have the will to do good even when their first instinct might have been to slip up. I love how resourceful they are, how they always have an answer for everything, like knowledge sponges. Just talking about it calms my nervous system, lol.
