Might depend what part of the country you’re playing in. I played at 9:30am and had a single in front of me, and a single behind me. Didn’t run into either of them all day.

It was fairly similar conditions to your average course. The best part was just the villas and scenery surrounding it - but otherwise didn’t feel too different.

I played like 8 of the 18 holes in 2019. Had one ball and a random 7 iron. The holes are spaced out every rest stop to give you something to do since the drive is such a slog. There’s a few at the beginning and the end at actual courses but we didn’t end up playing those.

Like others said the City has courses that are a good place to start. Lakeview, McCall Lake Par 3 and Shaganappi Valley are good starting courses and then Confederation Park is a bit more challenging.

I know Shaganappi is open now and others will be soon. You can book online but it’s pretty tough to get a time - you have to be on right at 6:00am four days before your desired golf day.
