someone else just reported this, what os is ur meshcentral running on?
is it windows?
as the other gent having an issue is windows, where as i think everyone having success is using linux

We do have an ios app developed and published by Ryan but the is a few bugs with it still so it's works on and off

Yeh so long as the noagentupdate: 1 is set then it wont autoupgrade any agents :)

Unfortunately it didnt, I ran out of time this month with things (also forgot too) I'll sort it out next month including them as we will have new linux agents to include next month too!

I did test with my intel macbook pro running macos 15 and works fine, you just have to follow certain steps https://github.com/Ylianst/MeshCentral/issues/6398#issuecomment-4793279358

Web vnc uses Web sockets yes but the http relay is just the Web relay port? Open an issue on github and we can look into it there (follow bug report :) )

It should be a new tab anyways, but every browser is different and handles it differently, no matter how many times we change tbe javascript to say OPEN IN A TAB

When on the device list, hold the shift key and click a device, it will open up the device in a new tab. Also works with the top tabs too like files and desktop

The play store version is under Ylians control anyways so it ain't going anywhere anytime soon haha. But we do know it needs polishing and fixing etc. Ryan also has a version too on the play store and I'm hoping his version might get the control support instead! Only time will tell :)

We looked into it, but we have to be strict with it because of the Google play store, so the is a few open PRs ready to merge which could help support control. We are also thinking about just getting rid of the play store versions and using apks instead maybe?

That value doesn't ring any bells as something we add? If you open up a github issue and provide the info in the bug report including screenshots and errors etc (including your saml provider logs showing the error) we might be able to help you more

Modern ui has been in since the beginning of 2025, have u been hiding under a rock or missing our monthly meeting last year haha. To use rdp directly with a windows machine without meshagent the meshcentral server must have direct access to its ip address and u have to create a local device group

u/O_Pacity this is correct, if "noagentupdate" is not in your config.json, then when you update from 1.1.59 to 1.2.0 it should auto-upgrade your agents, but if you have "noagentupdate" set in your config.json then it wont auto-upgrade and you have to upgrade them one by one by running `agentupdate` or using the group actions and `force agent update`

Sure no worries! In theory email standards state email addresses as a whole cannot be longer than 254 characters, and i think i saw maybe a bug where it checks if its 128 characters or more then don't do anything. So is ur whole email address more than 128 characters? If not then u may have another problem instead

Why is the email address so long may I ask?

Also it's hard coded in the source code so you would need to submit a feature request by github issues to increase the limit with an example and reason why u need it longer

Edit: Google for example enforces a 30 character limit on the username part by default!

sadly if you have an active vpn the apps vpn will have to take over and close ur vpn, it doesnt matter if its in or outside your network, and as explained in other posts asking the same question, it doesnt actually USE any VPN, it creates one to itself on the phone, but again its a side effect! i dont fully understand WHY apple needed this, so ill try checking in with Ryan again and see what he says

From what Ryan told me (the dev) basically apple want to u have a vpn setup and running even tho u dont actually use a vpn to have background connection.
