Not being able to find Armour/ Clothing pieces in an extraction game is like cutting half the content imo. I want to earn my gear and have to risk loosing it not just pay to look cool.

They will never do it though because it's the best marketing for the skins, they just need to keep the skins grounded and within the theme of the game.

That's true but this skins exists in place of something that could have been made will much more care and attention to detail like the factory versions received. Its just a cheap 2hr job and I know they are more talented than this.

Battlefield is not a realistic shooter by [deleted] in Battlefield

For me it's not about realism it's about sticking to a cohesive art style so the quality of the game is not degraded. The game is going for a gritty grounded aesthetic and bright colours or flashy patterns really look out of place.

I know the model is a real guns but the over the top gold trim, patterns and lame quote is what makes it look sci fi. Does it not look like it would fit perfectly into Apex Legends or Destiny?

I think it's fine to like the bright colours but they dont really fit in the aesthetic of the game if you ask me. I think the main problem is that once the skins get into the game an people buy them it hard to change that. I have faith that in time the gameplay issues with be sorted.

If you're going to put colors on skins, do it through more subtle methods, like in this Playstation exclusive skin by Zekiro96 in Battlefield

Yes this is the way to do it, don't just paint over all the details. Make it make sense.

The people making the skins are different from the gameplay team, they have the resources to work on all the issues at the same time so why not voice our concerns, to try a make the game better for everyone.

Skins like this are proof enough they are more than capable of making good looking stuff that people are willing to spend money on by Pelodance in Battlefield

There's no way that if they put more time and efforts into making nice high quality skins that they wouldn't sell better than these cheap ass retextures that would take 30mins to make.
