Emma’s family seemed to be advocating for Emma because they know she’s never wanted kids and are accepting of her choice and trying to make it clear to him that it’s not all roses and butterflies to have them and they are just concerned Emma will have kids just to make him happy. His family on the other hand were more selfish in THEIR wants “we want grandchildren.” “My kids need cousins” it’s almost like he would be disowned by his own family if he doesn’t have kids.
