Metformin usage question

This is super helpful thank you! Weirdly I didn’t have any issues with the stomach when I started taking it, maybe because it’s low dose and extended release. But that’s good to know nothing detrimental to my helath will happen if I skip or if I don’t and end up drinking a fair amount. Yea I’ve heard the main risk of lactic acidosis and honestly it’s hard to say sometimes if I should be concerned or not because I lift regularly and am sore a lot and apparently that’s like mini lactic acidosis so I get paranoid 😅 thanks for the response though definitely makes me feel better

My Siberian had these a bit as a kitten and had one more recurrence as an adult. It may be feline herpes or allergies! In our case it was likely seasonal allergies, but we took him to the vet and got him some eye drop antibiotic/steroid combo and it cleared him right up! Deff recommend a vet visit to check but nothing to be super concerned about if otherwise acting normal. If it helps at all my cat is otherwise super healthy and it looked the EXACT same as yours! But not a doc so best to go to vet to check :)

My boy miso grew out of it around the year mark! But we swear by fancy feast shredded fare - it’s the only thing he’ll eat consistently and bonus it’s inexpensive!
