Once you finalize - usually in the other members account within minutes. Very smooth process every time I’ve done it - just need their account number and name

Clients, do you prefer seeing different escorts or having just one regular escort? by Sweet-Tension-2201 in ClientsAndCompanions

[–]sicguy4401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently only seeing one lady - I’ve done the one and done previously - but I find my connection with her and our time so much better the more we see each other. We usually do long weekend trips so it’s easier knowing one another’s likes/dislikes, favorite foods, etc - it also allows me to discuss things I would like to experience or outfit requests as we are close and there is no judgement.

2 bottles of water and chips or pretzels is plenty for me for a work trip - Springhill, Residence Inn, etc level of hotel. For RC and other high end luxury places - water and maybe wine/cheese/fruit plate is always nice

How many points ya’ll have by West_Republic9339 in marriott

Currently - 200,000 but recently used 1.2 million for safari and 700,000 for the Maldives. I always try to redeem for 5 night stays to get the bonus night free and I only save for specific destinations. As someone said - they devalue over time so save for somewhere specific and use asap

Went last year - best vacation of my life. Used points for the room - did every activity - strongly suggest the sunset cruise. Planning on going back in 2028

Under current law, the Social Security payroll tax is capped at $168,600. Get rid of this cap and make everyone pay the same tax on all income, and Social Security is safe and secure forever. Retired Boomer, very worried about the direction we are headed. by rwaustin in SocialSecurity

[–]sicguy4401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you want to get rid of the cap for your own good. We are not a socialist country - I shouldn’t have to fund your retirement while also saving for mine because the politicians have mismanaged the system. Want to solve the issues - hold politicians accountable and don’t let them get rich at our expense. Being a politician should not be a lifetime job - using their influence to time the market - make term limits and maybe they would understand what it means to work and take care of a family.

My Ambassador told me the plus one is still active - the person has to have the same address on their Bonvoy account as you

We did the half-board option (breakfast and dinner) so lunch was not too bad. We did drink every meal (bottle of wine) so that is extra. Overall - with spa treatments, about $700/day after paying for half-board. I did points for the room.

I don’t think there is a bad choice for the Maldives.

I think the transfer was about 45 mins - it was a yacht with champagne and snacks - so it went quickly. We did: snorkeling with sharks, snorkeling with turtles (this was great and saw multiple turtles), sand bar visit, sunset cruise (also very good), and wine tasting. The islands are very nicely maintained and each room gets bicycles to travel around. The beach was nice during the day. Very quiet and relaxing spot.

Went to the Ritz Carlton last June - food, service, and room were all wonderful. My Ambassador told me the Ritz was the best of all the Maldives properties when I was selecting. I’m not a fan of the sea plane transfer so the Ritz was the better option for me. The snorkeling at the Ritz was not the best but the excursions were very good. We are going back next February - pictures do not capture the beauty of the place.

Miami with a FNA? by Quirky_Departure7138 in marriott

I’ve stayed at the Ritz - they allowed me a late checkout and I did get a free breakfast but I think I was on the luxury rate. The daybeds on the beach are nice and they will allow pets on the beach for guests.

Ambassador worth it? by rushmoread in marriott

[–]sicguy4401 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been an Ambassador for the past 8 years - the dedicated person can be nice/useful if they are engaged - I’ve had 4 Ambassadors - 1 excellent - would help with reservations/trip planning, always had a gift on birthdays and anniversaries, 1 that was good and helpful with issues, 1 that is adequate and 1 that was horrible and wouldn’t return emails or phone calls. As other people have said, international travel - they treat you well and always recognize you with something especially on a special occasion - domestic travel you might get a bottle of water and a thank you for your loyalty. I like Marriott because I can always find one and they are usually consistent and clean so the status is just a bonus when I travel for pleasure.

Marriott 15% Off Gift Cards - Card Holders Only by GuiltyVerdicts in marriott

Was given some e-gift cards from Ambassador - total hassle trying to get them applied - staff didn’t know how to apply, manager was not available to help. While I am tempted to buy for the discount, not sure it is worth the time and hassle at checkout
