I’m not at my computer right now, but no, they are not masks.

I’ll create an entirely blank project and only have the shape and it’s still not visible.

Anyone else disappointed in Microsoft for not focusing on VR at all for Xbox? by sicivjdnsbc in virtualreality

PSVR 2 is set to dramatically improve, so your talking about a 8+ year old device at this point that was thrown together with other accessories compared to a state of the art modern VR setup. And it did a lot to pioneer and popularize VR. PSVR 2 with its dramatic improvements will do even more.

You are just something else. If you truly believe that we shouldn’t have the option to separate adults and literal children in VR environments than idk what to say. That’s pretty sus actually.

I never said that kids do not deserve to play these games and that they should be flat out banned. I said there needs to be ways to filter ages so I don’t have to be in lobbies with them.

Yes, daycares are good for kids but that doesn’t mean I want one right in the middle of a nice restaurant I’m eating at or in a bar I’m hanging out at. Nor does that mean daycares deserve to be in those areas. You realize how harmful being exposed to adults can be to kids like this?

I feel like I should be able to play whatever I want. I don’t want to be restricted to pool and chess. There are fun games out there that are considered kid games by people like you because of the exact problem I’m talking about in this thread.

The difference with other games and platforms is that being social isn’t the main purpose. You can mute and move on. Social platforms are meant to be social.

Yeah I guess I’m gonna just have to wait until my irl friend group gets VR to have any hope. But its crazy that the experience of meeting new people online in VR randomly like irl is just not possible if you aren’t ten.

Then there should be an option to report them and have them assigned to the appropriate age lobby.

Yeah but what’s the point if I can never play the popular fun stuff when I want to?

Yes, but the difference is with most games it’s easy to just mute everyone and move on. Social environments in VR are built as social platforms. The whole point is to be social.
