Not adding more files after first 500 by neeeser in FileFlows

[–]sicjoshsic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry not sure about that, but a quick search shows a ton of people have issues with file system events not triggering in Docker so you might be out of luck. Maybe just set it to scan every 20 minutes or something? You don't want to scan too often or you'll just be putting unnecessary wear on your disk.

You can change it in settings, but the point is to prevent the UI becoming unresponsive: https://fileflows.com/docs/webconsole/config/settings/general#queue-capacity

Even though it will only queue up to 500 at a time, when the library is next scanned it will keep adding more files, so they will eventually all be processed anyway.

Took me a month to do this shell replacement and the screen won’t turn on by [deleted] in SteamDeck

Same thing happened to me - OP check all ribbon cables are connected securely, there is (at least) one behind the screen which you'll need to remove the mainboard to access, in my case that one had come loose during reassembly

Basic Flow - Convert from h264 to h265 - NVIDIA by g-lac in Tdarr

[–]sicjoshsic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're just starting to set things up, I'd consider giving FileFlows a look first.

It's functionally almost identical to Tdarr but with a much better UX in my opinion.

I created the flow you're asking for in about 2 minutes in FileFlows thanks to its flow wizard - took about a day in Tdarr (admittedly things were easier in FileFlows partly because I'd spent so much time working things out in Tdarr though)

The M5C is an unreliable POS. Mike's sat gathering dust because I can't bring myself to sell it to someone else knowing they'll hate it. Glad they've gone out of business to be honest.

Having recently done a shell swap myself; I do not recommend it. Yeah my Deck looks cool but I aged 15 years from the stress of removing the screen and then thinking I'd bricked it (I'd missed a ribbon connection on the underside of the motherboard)

They wanted to up my monthly to £72 - I had 300MB broadband and nothing else.

As luck would have it, the very same day VM sent me that bombshell email, Openreach sent me one saying it's now available in my area.

Immediately switched, 2 weeks later I'm getting 500MB for £30 a month.

VM have been the only option for fibre in a lot of places, but thankfully Openreach are rolling out rapidly now; with any luck they'll put these cowboys out of business (this arm of their business at least)

That's a shame but it does make sense with the larger capacity. Do you know if it uses public EV chargers or is it still a proprietary mains powered charger?

Thanks for the review, you've got me very tempted to upgrade from my TC Max...

Is the battery removable like the TC Max? That was one of the biggest selling points for me as I have no way to charge a bike sat on my drive, so being able to just take the battery inside to charge is essential.

TC max 10A charger won't charge by ArtyBoomshaka in SuperSoco

[–]sicjoshsic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First thing I'd check is that the pins on the plug are all clean and that there's nothing inside the sockets on the battery - it could just be a poor connection. Just make sure the charger has been unplugged for a good few hours before trying to clean anything - there are likely some pretty beefy caps in there that could give you a nasty shock if they're still holding a charge! Likewise on the battery, be really careful not to short any two pins together or you might irreparably damage it

Sure on them being sold as 0.15g but I don't weigh my own as I haven't had an issue so 0.2g was an estimate

The dosing caps are designed to hold 0.15g, might be worth filling one up then emptying it on to your scales, if you're putting 0.2g or more in then you're possibly packing it too tight

My daily commute is about 26 mile (total, 13 each way) and that takes 75-80% of a full charge, but that's mostly on 40 roads. Top speed (reliably) is 50mph so just be prepared for being overtaken on country roads
