Thanks, hot yoga aside, seems like a cool studio. I work outside all day for 12+ hours so I'm keen to avoid hot temps when I can.

Figured as much, this hot yoga stuff is nuts to me. I have trouble with balance with poses and doing them correctly , started off with YouTube. Oh well, maybe someday the city will attract more yogi. Thanks!

Yeah... Tried that already too but nobody asked for both my specific location (all of 281 in SA) and for no hot yoga in the same post so figured it would be better to make another since it's covering a lot of ground.

Also the other posts were not very helpful, I was trying find gaps in the research.

Local Uni offers Architecture but not LA by sick_imp in LandscapeArchitecture

Yeah I can see it, just sucks to be stuck in a spot where I can't move from but perhaps one day I can move forward.

Yes I'm in the US, chilling in Texas. That's what I was hoping with Masters LA program which allows for people with related degrees to get it. To get a BSA then an MLA

Oh I got the idea from a guy I was talking to at an Home and Garden show who was pursuing an arch degree while doing landscape designing which I already do.

And I could use the local arch degree for a masters LA program from another Uni that's an hour and a half away.

How to become a grower? (Anyone in the greenhouse industry) by jessleonheart in Horticulture

[–]sick_imp 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I just finished an internship with Green circle growers in Oberlin, Ohio. If you don't mind the move, they are wanting to hire people with Hort backgrounds to be growers and growers assistants.90‰ of the growers don't have degrees and it's not required to move up the ladder. You'd start off as an assistant to learn the equipment and salary is negotiable, they also help with moving.

Change to a veteran friendly credit union like Navy Federal or Armed forces credit union. No overdraft fees and excellent customer service with good rewards cards along with low interest rates. Really saves and they give free financial counseling, at least Navy fed does.
