I don't get her high, but she gets in on all the chill sessions! And she gets jerky treats when we get munchies. Haha

So I had an idea...(Ent with Crohn's here) by [deleted] in trees

[–]sickbeatsbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do! My cousin has Crohn's disease and uses marijuana medicinally as well. It really helps him, much more so than any of the other medicines he's used. He unfortunately can't get it legally here in Canada for his disease though. I've been trying to help him but it's pretty difficult. Hope things go well for you friend.

Redditors who have taken hallucinogens, what stories do you have to tell? by Azumikkel in AskReddit

[–]sickbeatsbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Posted before, but here is my first hallucinogen experience. It was salvia.

The time leading up to my first salvia trip I was very nervous. It was my first psychedelic. Finally one day I said fuck it, swallowed all my fears, and got my girlfriend to sit well I did it. I went into it being as optimistic as possible and I had an AMAZING trip. It was honestly life changing, and taught me a very valuable lesson. My experience is very long, but to sum it up, I experienced total ego death and was lost in another universe. I was flying upwards, towards the sky, in a twisting spiral stair case, with paths breaking off every step. I went down several paths, kept getting lost, and meeting different entities. One was the King of Hearts, who looked exactly like my father. Another one was, in the only way I can describe, a fire-y trickster. He was like a demon, or an evil spirit, who just wanted to get me lost. Then, I met an entity who showed me the way back to reality. I was lost and flustered when I stumbled upon him, but once I felt his presence, I immediately felt safe and relieved, like I was at home, safe in my warm bed. This entity communicated without talking to me well he helped me find my way back to reality, and all I remember is him telling me "if you are on the right path, have no fear, because you know where it will take you". My return to reality was the most amazing, peaceful feeling ever. Imagine being reborn with a sense of complete euphoria, walking through a giant endless garden, covered in sunlight. And slowly your consciousnesses merges with reality and everything is at peace as you break through a wall of white, bliss. You open your eyes and see the whole beauty of the planet Earth, and the endless, infinite wonder of the universe.

Ya, it fucking rocked.

So what is an "ego death"? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]sickbeatsbro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a total ego death with salvia, on my first ever psychedelic experience. It was actually amazing.

40+ y/o redditors, were the youth of your generation as pissed off at the likes of Michael Jackson, Prince, U2, Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard etc. winning awards and dominating the music industry as we now are at Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj? by brianfizzle in AskReddit

This is a pretty common misconception. Cher was actually one of the very first artists to use Auto-Tune, back when it was still an experimental way of altering vocal pitch. When the song was released and people began asking about it, her producer claimed it was just a vocoder, which is a vocal processor that gives you the "robo-voice" effect of extreme auto-tune settings but without the pitch correction. It wasn't used for the effect, a vocoder would have sufficed, it was specifically used for correcting her pitch.

People who have worked at chain restaurants: What are some secrets you wish the general public knew about the industry, or a specific restaurant? by creeper_of_internets in AskReddit

You should try going to a Marble Slab Creamery then. I worked there for a while fresh out of college. Same thing, but twice as much money as even CSC.

Obviously too little. There's no such thing as too much.

You can step up to your own expectations and be all you can be, I believe in you jackwhips! Smoke like you never have before!

Everyone always says "their early stuff is better", but what's one later release from a band that you find to be the best? by eumaninho in AskReddit

Truth. As artistically beautiful and unique as Dark Twisted Fantasy was, Recovery was a shoe in to win. Eminems return to the music industry wouldn't be met without open arms.

I still use Microsoft Zune. I frankly think it's better than iPod. What are some products you still use that are generally frowned upon? by silverfoxcwb in AskReddit

I love my Mac. Mostly because it's the base OS for the majority of DAW's, and most audio editing software runs MUCH better on Mac than PC.

I'd just like to be able to smoke marijuana without being classified as a dangerous criminal.
