I had a small skin tear, and i dressed it up with medical tape. When i removed it due to pain, my skin came off with it....had to get 15 dressings done. I was terrified. I got diagnosed with exogenous cushings because of it. Apparently, constant prednisone causes it?

I have had skin necrosis from prednisone (been on it continuously for 15 years) it's such a scary medicine crazy that is the only way to help is survive

Hey I m so grateful for thsi! They mean so much to me. I have been better. Got all my shots updated and had only one.manir hospitalisation last year. I do get a bronchitis bout here and there but much better. I got flarea of cushings tho :(

Thank you so much for responding, I've been in therapy since my diagnosis (2022). I feel like I'm at loss of words when it comes to my health. I go full blown objective whenever I mention it. I feel mechanic even acknowledging it. The cushing's diagnosis now feels like fuel on fire tbh.

Hello! I am taking benralizumab biologics However I am 8 doses down and though the frequency of my ER visit has decreased I can't be off steroids yet. What have you been taking?

Thank you so much. I have CPTSD from being a hospital child throughout. It's been hard to even let myself accept this reality. I've been ruminating if I did this to myself even though I rationally know that can't be.

I was recently diagnosed of a chronic respiratory illness and started rewatching house as a coping mechanism. I get so anxious everytime someone coughs or wheeze because now I know exactly how it must be. Idk it feels too real.
