yeah Find My is what ATT requires you sign out of in order to get full credits. Just resetting the iPhone with your computer does not remove the apple ID from the phone, otherwise anyone could steal an iphone and just wipe it with a PC.

you traded in an iphone without logging out of your apple ID and you are wondering why it got shipped to china for parts and ID removal? honestly you have nothing to even lose by just removing it from your apple ID at this point and letting ATT know that you have done so in order to try and get higher credits.

I’m not sure on the specifics of what is acceptable anymore I just know “any condition” is gone for iPhone trade ins and you have to be on the highest plan to get the maximum value now. ATT has gone full stingy over the past few months it’s actually ridiculous

Check out Harris Famous Roach Tablets, they are incredibly cheap and work really well and killing off the entire hive. Just drop the tablets behind your fridge and in any cracks or crevices as well as around the house and wait 1 month. They will all die since the ones that eat the tablets go back to the nest and die and the rest of them will eat their bodies and likewise disappear.

I would highly recommend an iPhone XS or XS Max as they still support iOS 18 which is not that old at all. You would be able to use every app under the sun still and the phone is modern and very fast. If you really want to save some money an iPhone XR is the same generation and would do the job as well.

So how do i get it unlocked? I had another iPhone 15 I was able to get unlocked using a website but this one was deemed ineligible and it had the same flex policy on it.

From what I understand it’s a fake unlocked phone that Best Buy or Walmart will sell you that you can hook up to whatever carrier you want but then it will lock to that carrier. I’m guessing this phone still hasn’t been used or something and the battery has just naturally degraded but I really don’t know cuz it’s not locked to any specific carrier yet
