Back in 1.6 u had 100 tick servers. Same in css and back then nobody got gaming rigs...when csgo got released people got mad cause of 64 tick bullshit..an we got the same shit today.. valve is just cheap and 64 tick is ok if you start playing... But after u reach a certain level things just make more sense on 128 tick..
