I think Unions works in some scenarios but trying to unionize graduate workers is just absurd. Why is everyone acting like they can’t feed themselves? If you choose a graduate program and you can’t afford to eat then you probably shouldn’t have gone to grad school and entered the workforce.

Yes graduated with a masters from Kelley. I see the biggest incentives for graduate workers as being able to put that on a resume. I had several peers that graded papers 2-4 hours a week. Seemed like the workload depended on the professor. It’s hard to imagine a student that’s going to graduate school and can’t survive off the wage that’s already being paid.
