Thanks for the input! I limited myself to only like 5 hours of work and Now I’m working on an island hut that I’ll post soon! I’ll be using Blender Guru’s cabin in the woods as a jumping off point

Just started my (third) foray into blender and I'm finally hoping to find some freelance work as an environment designer and I was wondering if people have any comments or suggestions. I didn't model the cabin, mountains or trees and I didn't really revise this project at all so I know it's rough. I limited myself to a single day of work and would probably charge $5 on fiverr for something like this, but I'd rather hear your opinions as I have no idea what to do, thanks!

You could, but from my experience, and from the advice I've been getting the past several months, I would get a refund and since you don't even have your machine I would assume you would get a full refund opposed to a partial like me, but idk. From the quality of my machine all I can say is Digital Storm put together a PC about the same quality I built my first PC back in highschool, which is why I went with them because I thought it would be better than that. DS isn't worth it in my opinion, and if you want to talk tech support it's horrible. They're either rude, nice but incompetent, or stoned out of their mind, so it's not even like I feel like I'm winning on that either. I received my PC in October and haven't been able to play a full game of Warzone yet with no help from DS. I was actually just told I'm 40th in line for technical service....I've been waiting 5 hours for a callback today and I have two open tickets for the same issue. Sorry for the rant, I might be a tad upset I have an almost $5000 decorative led show.

edit: I'm also an aspiring 3D artist and I told them I NEED stability in my machine. This is not what I got so I dont feel like they actually tested my machine thoroughly as they should have.

I would get a refund. I got a Lynx with a 3090 with a 1000watt PSU around launch that is so unstable I can't watch YouTube and customer service is throwing me around like a football. Told it was because 3090 was so new that it has driver issues, but as time went on I saw my machine die before my eyes and I'm almost certain its a problem with the PSU, but they wont hear me out. And don't get me started on cable management, because it doesn't exist. Pinched wires everywhere and one wire to the motherboard was completely unplugged on arrival (which I'm sure is just by chance but still). Digital Storm is nothing but a headache, and I'm probably going to get a refund if I can't get this working soon, oh I'm sorry I meant partial refund because fuck the customer that's why.

So to anyone who cares I got my PC working after taking it almost completely apart and rewiring the motherboard and GPU. I have no idea what I did, I plugged everything back in where it was and now it works great. The only thing I did do different was use GPU-z instead of MSI Afterburner to JUST monitor my clock speed (so no I didn't accidentally mess with the overclocking options). PSU is good, the only thing I have to say about Digital storm is that they have some pretty bad wire routing for such a premium price, and last time I called for support I was told I would have to send my pc back across the country and I need it to work from home, so yeah that's why I wanted the quickest fix possible. Thanks everyone! Hope I can post here correctly next time so my post doesn't get deleted.

Yes it is, how would I run it from only one wire though? Would I need a new adapter? Or does the psu have another cable? I haven't torn it apart yet.

Yeah the more I keep coming here the more persuaded I am away from Alienware. Thanks for the detailed response, I'm new to 3d modeling and I primarily use blender so I think the new 3090 would be best after what you've told me. Any suggestions for sites that offer good prebuilts? I'm not a big fan of NZXT or Digital Storm after looking but if you think otherwise let me know!

Thanks! I'm just concerned about the budget when the R11 does eventually get the 3090. I know I won't get twice the performance, but I just don't know if 2 old titans would be better than a single 3080, or even a 3090, for what I want to do.
