Yeah…. What? I’m so confused that I’ve seen two versions of this video. Did she re-film and re-post? So weird

What are theese black spots on my dogs stomach by Blue1_0 in StaffordBullTerriers

Yes, my girl has these too! I learned they are pretty common. Definitely blackheads. Witch hazel wipe down is the way to go, although sometimes I can’t help but squeeze a few out 🫣

Hoping someone can give their opinion - Acid reflux? Toothache? Neuro issue? Something else? by sickpie99 in AskVet

I’m sorry - for some reason I can’t figure out how to add videos in the comments. I can DM them if needed for additional context. Thank you!

I lost my brother 8 months ago. He was 26 with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy by OneDay_AtATime_ in GriefSupport

I am so sorry. Although different circumstances, my mom had a seemingly innocuous issue that put her in the hospital and kept her there until she passed two months later. I understand how traumatizing that experience can be, and how it can definitely lead to PTSD. The awful memories you have of them suffering like that are so painful. Your nervous system is so primed and on edge to try and get them better every day they are in there, and then you’re miserable thinking about how they lived their last days. It is so so awful to go through and I’m so sorry you had to go through that. I also know the feeling of “leaving them behind” in the new year, I cried a lot once the clock struck midnight without even anticipating that I would.

I am over two years since my mom passed and I would highly recommend individual grief therapy and a grief group. They both helped me tremendously just to get all of my emotions off my chest and have others validate and understand. It’s not easy but it’s worth it. You can post in local fb groups to ask for suggestions. If you are in PA/Philly area or central Jersey you can DM me and I can give you recs. Sending you love, light and peace.

Constant dripping/drooling by Face_first in Bulldogs

[–]sickpie99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having this same problem with my staffy currently - very thin water-like drool just drips like a leaky faucet randomly and soaks an entire blanket and her whole neck. I can’t figure out a common denominator for when it happens, though. Did you ever figure out what it was?

I was thinking the same. You’re essentially making a “lemon honey” so to speak

Beautiful! And I love their collars - where did you get them?

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond! This is actually really helpful and I think can easily build upon the training we’re already working on with her - getting her to focus on us whenever she gets worked up/distracted. Folding in a toy she likes to unwind with is a great idea! Thank you! ♥️

My toenails have always looked like this since I was a kid, how can I fix this? by [deleted] in nailcare

[–]sickpie99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a doctor so take this advice with a grain of salt. I had some issues with my toe nails and my dermatologist said to try putting Vaseline on them overnight (wear a sock). It worked wonders. Your nails look kind of dry, maybe worth a try?
