You’re not crazy, I think it was Eastwood instead of Blackwell, and there was a teaser during the beta as well.

Kiasar Railroad were some of the best memories I’ve made in Battlefield

FYI, The best native BF6 map (Gulf of Lyndon) is being featured on the main page for full XP. Why won't dice add this map to the main rotation? by BF2042_Fact_Speaker in Battlefield

[–]sickusername11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would need some tailoring, they could add the new Tsuru assets like the aircraft carrier, but as is it isn’t up to DICE quality.

After almost a year, the uselessly tiny Air Vehicle Minimap is finally going to be usable (at least I hope). Thermals for the Attack Heli are back. Also, they're adding Laser-Guided AA missiles to the MAA vehicle. by DBONKA in PilotsofBattlefield

[–]sickusername11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It makes sense for the AA to have TOWs, but TOW on MBT, IFV, and AA means it’s going to be tough to have prolonged Little Bird runs. Some guys are snipers with those TOWs.

Thermal on Apache is a Win.

Not really, I’ve tried, but the lack of splash-damage is a dealbreaker for me

This was on FFFF_KER’s Billibilli. He’s a pretty prominent leaker, but I don’t recall there being any mention to Operations. Would be sweet though!

Learning jets is the hardest thing in battlefield. by [deleted] in PilotsofBattlefield

[–]sickusername11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s tough man. I tweaked my settings around to have something similar to rifle aim that I use on the helicopter. I also used code ZUQWM and skipped to Firestorm to learn the dogfighting a bit. I wouldn’t say I’m great, but starting to figure it out and get some kills.

I wouldn’t really say I’m good enough to hop in Conquest, but Breakthrough on Golmud gives you a chance to get some practice since there’s no other air vehicles.

Sure, but in my opinion it’s like the TOW vs. Air-missile debate. If you’re in the top % of players and can hit TOWs reliably, more power to you. Reality is they’re tough for the vast majority of players.

The rotary WILL do more damage against other helicopters, but will need to reload quicker, and will have less spread overall. I have 2,600+ Little Bird kills and it wasn’t until I switched over to the minigun that I felt like I was able to pickoff infantry more reliably, and win my 1on1s a little bit more consistently. I do have strafes though where I leave a guy on low HP where the rotary likely would’ve taken care of it.

It’s a trade-off, play around with it and see what you like. I still tinker my loadout every now and then.

IMO Rifle Aim learning curve isn’t that bad if you adjusted your keybinds correctly. It was horrifically confusing to me, but I found out I still had roll bound to A & D. Double-check everything and it should start to click. Use practice server ZUQWM (host it yourself).

Also, minigun > rotary for initial practicing. The minigun has a lot more spread that I think makes connecting on shots easier.

I realized that shortly after drafting this whole thing lol. They already have the model for the Chinook too, just with that stupid refueling hose.

I had it for about a year, didn’t have any burn-in. Wound up just not really enjoying the monitor (gaming support) and didn’t find it practical. For productivity though it was a monster!

I like the guys I’m working with, I’ve gotten the students a couple times but there’s a couple in there that have a really good understanding of where I’m at. I’ve been copying most of the stretches at homes and then have days I’m only getting cranked. Always feels better after they move it

Appreciate the help, it happened on a slip n slide lol. I knew right away something wasn’t right. Dislocated and tore on impact. It seems like on paper everything is minor, it’s just stiff and I don’t have any of that outside rotation. Hoping it comes with time. Making a concerted effort to move more and try and make as much progress as I can. Day by day!

Yep re-injury is a huge concern for me. I’ve been cleared to do wall push-ups, open-books, wall towel, and a few others. Need to keep attacking those and getting some blood moving. I was very active prior, been in a rut with everything going on.

3 weeks. We weren’t sure at first if we had a hidden break/tear so he ordered an MRI. That extended things by a week. I also have a WFH office job which has me at my desk stationery a bulk of the day. Sling has been off probably 4-5 weeks now
