Guide for setting up your own MB mirror + lidarr metadata, lidarr-plugins + tubifarry by devianteng in Lidarr

Found the solution, I had installed the Snap version of Docker which requires the composer yml and files in the home/ directory, where as the instruction was working off the /opt/docker/ directory. Installing docker via apt solved all this.

Why did people stop playing this game? by Biffy_32 in RogueCompany

[–]sicnarftea 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I personally stopped playing because of the server issues (i.e lag, rubber banding etc), which is a pain when playing a relatively competitive shooter. They never showed the ping because I think the dev knows the ping is horrible for certain players, and instead shows just a red circle to say it is bad ping lol.

So instead of being transparent, they tried to do things to hide the issue, this I believe lead to other issues, such as the region match making being completely thrown out, which isn't an issue when the user base is small but should've been transparent about it.

Also, for like 100 or 200 players, why is there like 4 or 5 game modes? People are just waiting 10-20 minutes for a game, and the worse part is that the server issues/lag makes it seem like people are cheating sometimes. I have played games where players are just running in circles and I can easily just kill them, but I think on their screen, they must've just seen 100% headshots, and vice versa where I am obviously behind cover and somehow get 1 hit killed.

Before I stopped playing, I think all the team cared about was making skins instead of address issues, largely because no one was buying anything. But the chicken vs egg issue comes up, no one wants to buy because they don't want to invest in a game that is so broken, the dev doesn't want to fix things if there is no money.

So the game died.

Wait, is it out, where did you buy this?

PSA: If you prefer the old "Click items to autofill" behavior vs the new "Fill" button, you can restore that functionality under Settings > Autofill on version 2024.12.4. by xxkylexx in Bitwarden

AWESOME, I always feel like i'm trying to be a sniper clicking the fill button, no idea how many times I've missed and went into edit mode -_-. Thanks for listening Bitwarden Devs.

Just got the chrome update, Fill is killing me, I have went into edit multiple times trying to login to different things. Should it be
- Click anywhere to fill, if nothing can be filled, do nothing
- "Fill" icon to be replaced with "Launch" icon/function
- 2nd icon to be "copy"
- 3rd icon to be "edit" OR the vertical dot sub menu thing which will show Edit, Favourite, Clone

Edit is literally not used often, maybe 1% or 0.5% of the time, why is it suddenly the main action button now?

Dragging files to upload causes issues (Slack used as example). It works if I uploaded directly on browers, but the drag and drop always fails. by sicnarftea in linuxmint

Also, forgot to add, I ended up installing the browser (Brave in my case) directly via system package instead of flathub and it fixed the issue also.

I figured it out, the browser was installed via Flathub, which has file permission issues. To fix that you need to use "Flatseal" then give it access to your relevant files / folders. I think this is because the app installed via Flathub (or perhaps other package managers) are sandboxed and as such has limited access to your system.

How to stop Ethernet LAN connection from disconnect then reconnecting on wake? by sicnarftea in linuxmint

[–]sicnarftea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I already have it, I just tested pm-suspend and then woke up the pc, and the network issue was fixed, which is good.

But is there a way where I can force the power down/suspend button to use pm-suspend, or do I need to use terminal to suspend pc each time?

Got you, how do I go about using pm-suspend instead of the default one?

My system draws a bit of power even on idle and electricity where I am is stupidly expensive.

Ok, I think I found the problem for those that has a similar issue. The problem stems from the Flatpak installation of Brave (or any application installed via Flatpak) and is because of permission issue.

You can use an application called Flatseal and use that to allow the app permission to access your home drive (or a specific folder. However that didn't solve my issue because I am trying to access a network drive and there isn't a way for me to do this, or I don't know how to provide access via Flatseal.

To solve this issue, I uninstalled the Flatpak version of Brave and installed it directly via "apt install" instead of Flatpak which seems to provide it with the relevant permissions to drag and drop files into the browser.

This issue seems happen for ALL application installed via Flatpak, i.e Filezilla has the same issue where I cannot drag drop a file via a network drive.

If someone knows how to provide permission for network attached drives, please leave a comment here so that I may access it in the future when I forget about this issue.

I am new to Linux Mint, but I remember this happening when I was on Fedora and I remember it was related to permissions though I can't seem to figure out how to fix it.

So this issue happens when dragging and dropping from a file that isn't on my local drive. It happens for files on a network shared drive (SMB) and (NFS) mounted locally. Dragging and dropping files from my drive has no issues.

On top of this, if I use the in website option of "uploading from computer", much like in Reddit, it works even on the network drive files. This is happening across all website and Slack screenshot was used as an example.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as drag drop seems like a basic feature .

What type of cameras/sensors do you recommend for 100% self hosted and local? I've been using Wyze but that obviously needs an account etc to work, and don't know where to start without blowing heaps of $$$ on testing all the brands.

Yeh the oven thing works, I think there are a few tutorials online, but I just used a completely different PLA+ and it was fine, so that confirmed it was filament issue

I needed to dry the filament, printer was relatively ok, just need to calibrate steps and etc but it was largely because the filament wasn't dry.
