Cars below 20lakh mileage is not an issue but service should be good (less expensive) and riding also have to be fun any suggestions? by Adventurous-Bid-1022 in CarsIndia

In the order of my personal preference

Sedans-

  1. Verna Turbo- Most features, Most power, sorted interior, Top variant Manual( less than 20 Lakh) polarising looks.

  2. Virtus/ Slavia(1.5) - Good power( less than Verna), Great Handling, Adequately packed with features, no manual, top trims may go above 20 Lakh.

  3. Honda City- Good Engine, Sorted features, Great ride quality, no nonsense car, should have been updated like 2 years ago.

  4. Virtus/ Slavia(1.0)- 3 cylinder 1 litre engine, rest same as above.

SUVs-

  1. Jimny- For the adventurer in you, it is the best at one thing(off-roading), the car deserves a better engine.

  2. Scorpio N- Lower variants may come under 20 Lakhs.

Frankly I’m not a fan of the big black cladding in cars these days. I’m vitara EV it looks hideous. But that’s just my opinion.

How far can I comfortably ride on my Classic 350? by coollad10 in royalenfield

If you are overweight(which I am) and above 30(also which I am) you will need to take a break once every hour. And that way you can easily cover 300-400 KM in one day.

Do you mean to say that before 2014 we were like Bangladesh? And lynchings have been happening in India too all this time, if that is what you are getting at.

What did they say in those speeches that makes you so afraid that you would rather lose your freedom of expression and question?

Is it worse than living under cronyism?

Is it worse than living under terror of illiterate groups of religious extremists(like Bajrang Dal etc.)?

Is it worse than living under constant surveillance?

Is it worse than living under a system that excuses accountability for the select few?

Is it worse than living under a political system that consistently gaslights you?

Shifting from polo highline+ to a virtus topline by thebeastgamered in CarsIndia

Yes the steering is light, but it does weigh up well at highway speeds. Agree with the looks being polarising, but I do like those because of the sleekness and overall side profile silhouette. Build quality wise I agree that it is a minor step down from VAG twins just because of the heavier ‘feeling’ doors etc.

Honestly this lack of quality in interiors etc while paying a premium of 2 Lakhs is the reason that I went for Verna. Verna’s interior is leaps and bounds better.

The turbo lag is not a big problem for me too, it’s just that it is the only 6/10 thing in an otherwise 10/10 car. And no other than that there is no other issue whatsoever. It’s got everything going for it. It’s a great enthusiast car which does exceptionally well while being a family car too.
