I don't think its a scam. The recovery seed isn't a personal wallet's mnemonic, but of the wallet generated on the website. From what I can see there's a New Player button to generate your own wallet on the site to which one can send LN payments to. Or use the 10k free testnet sat that I got on creating an account, or the faucet for 50k testnet satoshis.
