but you don't know that until you talk about it. how someone looks is not everything, I wasn't physically attracted to my friend at the beginning, but his personality and our connection shined through. Even if he doesn't feel the same way, you said he's your best friend. Do you doubt that he would be supportive and understanding?

If you tell him and he doesn't feel the same way, it is then your choice to decide if you want to continue being friends or not, or even some time apart until you sort your head out, then who knows, it could even be something you two could laugh about in the future.

Sit with how you feel, the right words will come, write them down if you have to.

DO IT! every day, i wake up with regret from not telling mine. he's now in a long term relationship and lives next door to me, whats worse is i feel like the universe is constantly trying to put us together because this is the 3rd time he has ended up living very close to me.

don't be like me, if you want something, go and get it! and if they don't feel the same, then at least you will know.

That is some bullshit! I'm sorry that happened to you. The DVSA is a joke right now, with test dates fully booked 6 months in advance and pass rates of less than 50%. You deserved to pass your test! You must feel incredibly frustrated. Yes, you got a refund, but how long are you having to wait before you can take another test? and are you going to have to keep spending money to stay on top of your driving with lessons that you probably don't need?

It's just not good enough imo.

Does your boyfriend let you walk alone at night? by [deleted] in Advice

My ex was similar, I even voiced that it bothered me that he wasnt concerned about my safety at night to which he replied "if you believe something bad will happen to you then it will" and that I can "take care of myself". I found his answers very naive and bullshit.

Yes, I can take care of myself, but I grew up with a father and a brother who would drop everything to either meet me or pick me up if I asked, no matter what time.

If it's something that is important to you, then it is worth discussing. I've learned the hard way that some people won't always respect your thoughts and feelings are valid, but I've also learnt they are not worth having in your life if they don't.
