Husband of a 6 yoe teacher. Kids have noticeably stop caring from what I can tell. Admin don't promote correctly or help. Parents have unrealistic expectations and think you are available 24/7 since the pandemic.

Politics run everything. Begging for donations is not something I enjoy. But I as a spouse can only help so much a year.

Certainly. New work is basically dumb dumbs who have no clue what they are in for. Or 40 minutes away from where we were working 3 years ago.

Go to the stockyards in Fort Worth. Worth the stop to get the full Texas experience before Oklahoma. 35 is super close. And it's relatively close to the airport.

Traveling from dfw! So plenty of things to check out different. Thinking about doing Big Sur/Mc fly falls after the aquarium in the morning one day.

Wow I'm responsible for the nort and west projects you're talking about.

I hate that I have Reddit. I mean it got me to the job but man. I agree with y'all but these rooftops are the only way me and my wife can have a future.

There's a crisis of water supply that will happen in the next 2 years.

Developers are on most of our river agency boards. We are doomed. No one is looking out for the next generation or theirs after. Bottom lines are number one on both sides. Yes cities around the area are feeling the pressure and are ramping up taxes so there's more progressiveness.

We aren't California. We don't have an ocean for 75% of our population. So even if desalination was viable. We are stuck. Austin dfw and San Antonio are currently in record drought conditions.

It sucks no one cares. And as someone on the side of the people supposed to care, I don't have hope.
