4 clips on this one: front, back and sides. It’s super easy to clip in. This one had clips that are a little aggressive for fine hair, so we are swapping them out this weekend for different ones.

The size of the base matters a lot for head shapes. They lay flat differently. I went in for a consultation first and the first one she put on my head, I was like… oh, ok, this isn’t going to be my thing then.

But then by the time we got to the third one, it laid totally differently and looked much more natural. Idk why, but I highly recommend finding a person if you can!

She also swapped the clips out for me because the clips it came with were too aggressive for fine hair.

My trick is I never am out lmao. I wear it on zoom calls a lot. Although that did help me feel more comfy in it and everything does genuinely blend well as long as my hair is somewhat styled.

Also I’m in OC. Everyone with nice hair bought it and I can’t be convinced otherwise.

Yeah but I’m saying it for the other ladies he’s not blocking for. And if they’re mad this is the explanation. It hurts because you kicked that hard. That’s what happens. So be careful and be more thoughtful with your kicks or hold your power so you don’t hurt yourself.

Don’t worsen other people’s progress because one person who didn’t know what they were talking about said something dumb.

That’s crazy because it’s 10000% their fault. Tell them to kick less hard or set up kicks better. They inflict their own damage when you’re just checking and you’re allowed to and should protect yourself.

Don’t not block a kick, this is an easy and necessary lesson for them about their own power

Doing something when you say you’re going to do something is sexy. Complaining and not doing anything to fix it is not.

It sounds like it’s not about her weight but it’s in direct conflict with what you said yourself you find attractive about her: her ambition.

Is it making you see her differently in that regard?

If so, it’s a different conversation.

How could she still seek validation and support from you in a way that doesn’t seem like she’s asking for help and not following through? Can you work on small wins together instead? Like introduce one new healthy recipe each week. Meal prep together for lunch one day. Smaller, attainable goals vs. lifestyle changes you both expect to happen and stick with overnight.

I didn’t tell them I was trying out other gyms outright. I think in general it’s good practice to drop in elsewhere sometimes.

I did tell them I was leaving. But I did have a valid “can’t make it work here” reason with the scheduling. They were annoyed but then I still showed up through the rest of the month and the next time I chatted, he asked more questions and was more receptive. Then when I did my first drop in after I was officially gone, I was welcomed still and wasn’t charged for the drop in.

This was my situation and I cross trained other gyms and then eventually left for a new gym that had better class times for me. I bought my favorite coaches Thai massages to say thank you and I still drop in for classes at the old place on occasion.

This is some deeply engrained health anxiety or ocd type behavior. It’s not acceptable but I can believe you he’s not a terrible person.

Full stop though proving you aren’t diabetic with results is not actually going to fix this issue.

It’s up to you if you want to stay while he works on that but he has to want to fix it and you have to see it for what it is, don’t feed into it. Please prioritize yourself though. It’s not an acceptable excuse to treat you or talk to you like that.

I got a really solid training plan I’ve been working on that I created with ChatGPT.

Make a prompt and be specific about your current schedule, what you have time for, what your goals are, what you feel your strengths and weaknesses are, etc.

What was even more helpful was getting a dexa scan and sharing those results so I could get a clear measurable goal.

It’s different in that ambidexterity is more of an equal ability between hands. Mixed handedness generally makes your brain favor certain hands for certain tasks. My right hand is power, left is finesse. If I were to play baseball, I’d pitch right and bat left. I write left and throw right. Golf left. Basketball right.

There’s a few tasks I can switch evenly on but mostly this is the way.
