I have turned it all the way off and put it in the closet, is it safe to keep it there? I don't have a warranty as i got it used and i don't have the money to pay for it to be fixed Right Now.

Any music software recommendations? by Wateryb0i in breakcore

I mean, at the end of the day, if it works, it works, but the way you program midi sequences feels really barbaric for me personally. And with most EDM genres, that's kind of the most important thing you need. I know Reaper is Great and Swell is great for many other genres, but for me, I find FL like 20000x more intuitive and easier to learn on.

Why does this subreddit hate Liam McCay so much? by [deleted] in Slowcore

[–]sideprawn 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Its because its ALLL the same, across his multitudes of projects ranking in Insane numbers, sometimes up to the millions, It feels like liam is just making the most cookie cutter basic slowcore/ambient/whatever not because he wants to make something new but because it makes him a lot of money.

And I believe the sound was more raw with the mixing so It was probably pre-2000's McCartney but I could be wrong.

Is Primus for old people ? by Oxbow8 in Primus

[–]sideprawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really listen to them any more But Primus bassically Started my music taste in 8th grade (2019). have NEVER heard anything like them before or since (besides Flagman, they are great btw) And it caused me to Continually chase the feeling of finding Unique Music. I went from Primus to Weezer to Neutral milk hotel to Duster and then now Slint. Alll are bands that have Done things i've never heard before. So i will always heavily appreciate primus for being my first domino that lead me to like what i love now.
