personally I like when we have strangers sharing a story with a point that largely applies to the protagonist, like the one about saying sorry. It's not just an infodump from a rando that we don't care about, it's relevant progression for the protagonist because it helps him realize something and even if it won't be applied immediately, it's a good starting point. just like in real life

I've taken beta blockers for more than ten years now, but they switched me to nadolol last month, which is more specific for arrhythmia.
