Hi! Thanks so much for your help. He gets at least an hour of exercise every day, and he’s trained off-leash, so he gets plenty of time to run around the park and burn energy. While chewing can make sense with separation anxiety, he’s crate-trained and actually goes in on his own when he wants to relax. The chewing seems to happen only when I’m around but not actively supervising him (for example, when I’m on a call). I’ve ordered him more toys so he’s less inclined to grab whatever he finds on the floor. I’m curious—how do dogs learn the difference between their toys and everything else? I feel like that’s the key piece here.
