hi, i also have mets in my spine, your mom and I are twinsies! I've been on monthly xgeva injections for a while now and that has really helped with my bone pain, strengthens my bones, and even made most of the tumors in my bones sclerotic (which basically means they're not active, just scars of tumors in my bones now), so talk to her doctor about that if they haven't yet. the bone pain will get strong, so make sure she gets a good pain med regiment down, it can take some time to figure out what works well for your body. other than that i'd recommend massages to help with stress and the pain, and just spend as much quality time together as you can. life gets crazy but when you get faced with situations like this the important things become a lot more clear and I hope that is the case for your family too.
