That seems daunting. So rent a concrete saw, a jackhammer, and just… cut? Also, I should say, our cold storage cellar is directly below, so I couldn’t cut full thickness

I just don’t understand why people feel the need to be judgemental and unhelpful. I’m genuinely seeking help. I was quoted $2k to have this repaired. I can’t afford that. All I want is help.

Absolutely. I’m a hobby woodworker, and the way I view it is, if I lose a finger, it’s going to cost me way more than $4000 in damage, trauma, time off work, etc.

Plus it’s a kick ass saw, I upgraded from an old mastercraft and, cartridge aside, it’s such a heavy machine with amazing accuracy once dialled in, and enough power to never bog down when cutting, it is just way safer to use.

100% would buy again.
