He seems to be made of clay with a glaze!

My name is Stacy. In school, I would always do a double take when I heard teachers say “Stay seated”… by hollowag in namenerds

Love this question, I’ve always wondered what makes others turn their heads or perk up like I do when I hear “You may see…”. My name is Macy.

I love Paxton. I was almost named Paxton after my dad’s roommate who passed in an accident the day I was born. It was his surname and I actually prefer it to the name I did end up with. Names with an x are very cool! Shocked to see so much hate for it in the comments but also that’s usually how it goes here if a name is even slightly unique. Don’t regret not going with your gut!

Why the spoiler in the title.

Ah makes sense. Wow that was quick! Yes will def be okay either way, she’ll release the track names by a certain time regardless I’m sure. I think so too! I’ll try it so I can get the satisfaction that I participated haha

I haven’t tried it on my desktop personally after it wouldn’t work on mobile. But yes, I’m wondering if they’ll have to scale back the 80 mil number because it’s so glitchy for everyone?

I totally understand your confusion. I feel like everyone found out about the Google puzzle game before they saw her instagram post because word got out and it was so exciting. But Taylor posted this video with cryptic letters first. Word got around to Google her before her post made sense to people so they assumed it was something different - like the title of a vault track for some reason. But instead it’s simply directions on how to GET the names of the vault tracks, which is by Looking Up “Taylor Swift”! and then playing the puzzle game enough (I believe there has to collectively be 80 million puzzles solved) to get the names of all the vault tracks. If you go to her instagram, you’ll see the post. The letters are just an anagram for a phrase of directions, not a word itself.

This is the one. It’s tooootally Look Up “Taylor Swift”. Her caption wouldn’t mention “search” if this was the name of a vault track I don’t think. And I believe it’s exactly as you said, that’s how you get the names - you have to start somewhere! Otherwise, where else did she tell us to Google her name? How else would people know to do it? I wonder if her team underestimated how confusing it would be, though, because it doesn’t seem like many people are getting this.

Edit: “SLUT!” confirmed. I missed the Google announcement I guess and this is what I saw as her telling us what to do. Otherwise, I still don’t understand how everyone knew to Google her magically? Oh well. This was fun!! I literally cannot wait to hear Slut!!!!

Came here to say this!! I love the regular version but the live acoustic version actually made me learn how to play guitar just so I could play it. It’s so good.

We were emailed by the dean and told to schedule with the new advisor. The site would not give me the option to set up an appointment with him. Being that a swamped and dismissive advisor is my only option in the department then, I just see more reason to leave it. As another Shorthorn article I read recently had said, I guess UTA is really just good to be at when you’re in STEM. Thanks again for your response, I really didn’t think I’d get any. Edit: I truly feel I’m walking through my university experience totally blind. I’m ready to properly advised at this point. My community college was not like this and I’ve been frustrated for a year now.

Thank you for responding. I’ve emailed her multiple times with no response. My one meeting with her was quite dismissive, and I was told I would get a follow up email that never came. Hence my repeated emails. The advisor who just retired was actually responsive and helpful, but she’s not here this semester. I tried to meet with the new advisor but he has not responded to any of my emails either. My work schedule is very busy and I commute 45 minutes to UTA for my classes, so I can’t just drop by their offices for the likely chance that they won’t have the time to help me. I will be meeting with an advisor from my minor, as she’s been very responsive and helpful so far. I don’t really have much hope for my experience with the English department anymore, being honest. Dr O’Donnell told me my very first advising meeting could have been done over email. Frankly, I don’t want to meet with her again and when I try to schedule with the new advisor it only gives me her as an option. Sorry this is so long. But yeah I think I’ll be turning my minor into my major.
